We truly loved our experience. The service was wonderful. Very good natured. We communicated very well in spite of the fact that my husband and I speak very limited Italian and they spoke limited English (so they said. It sounded really good to me). I had the pappardelle with wild boar. My husband had the spaghetti with saffron. Both were outstanding. We followed that up with roasted scarmoza and a side of chickory. Ended with a great dessert and complimentary amaro and meloncello (we adored the melonchello and were very happy to try the amaro. I LOVE amaro and enjoy noting the differences from location to location. We were informed that this was made with local mountain flowers. Very interesting but a bit too strong for me, ha! Still, it was fun and we enjoyed testing it. The meal was well complimented with a local wine. If I understood him (who I think was the chef) correctly, it was wine they made. Slightly chilled. I would have drunk a lot more if not for the drive ahead of us. It was a perfect night with a perfect meal.
