10/10IL Segreto delivers an exceptional dining experience, combining outstanding service with a warm and inviting ambiance. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Danny, who took care of our table with genuine attentiveness. He went above and beyond to make our two children feel special, offering them a thoughtful welcome drink and surprising our table with a delightful appetizer. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was equally enjoyable, but what truly set this experience apart was the impeccable service. Danny’s kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression, and we will always remember his hospitality. Thank you, Danny, for making our visit unforgettable!

9.5/10Il Segreto features expertly-crafted dishes in a small, fun setting two blocks north of Vatican City’s northern wall. A wood-fired grill makes for great roasted foods (octopus was superb), and the staff is young and hip but knowledgeable and attentive. It was an oasis after several hours of walking marble floors in the nearby Vatican Museums.

10/10one of the best meals we had in Rome, and the staff was very kind to us. i had the special, and it was excellent. i was a little nervous that our waiter was very talkative and boisterous at first (we are quieter folks, and were a bit tired for the whole song and dance), but he seemed to pick up on our vibe, calmed down, and was very helpful and sweet.

10/10Amazing place: delicious carbonara, great tiramisu, and cheesecake with raspberry sauce, paired with good wine. The decoration is nice and simple. The staff is absolutely amazing: customer-centric, kind, friendly, funny, and genuinely interested in meeting customers' expectations. I will definitely go back there!
