The carbonara was delicious. We also had the grilled octopus that was so tender and tasty. It was a little loud, but I guess it is a good sign that everyone was happy! 😀. Service was impeccable. I would highly recommend

The food was impeccable. Service was great. Shoutout to the staff who went above and beyond for our family and even making sure our 1 year old feels comfortable. The bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella and carbonara were the standouts.

This was the best service we had in Rome hands down!! Our server Daniel was so attentive and kind. The food was excellent and a good portion. I could not suggest this restaurant enough! Also when one of us forgot a book, another server ran far down the block to bring it to us. Unbelievable!

Il Segreto features expertly-crafted dishes in a small, fun setting two blocks north of Vatican City’s northern wall. A wood-fired grill makes for great roasted foods (octopus was superb), and the staff is young and hip but knowledgeable and attentive. It was an oasis after several hours of walking marble floors in the nearby Vatican Museums.

one of the best meals we had in Rome, and the staff was very kind to us. i had the special, and it was excellent. i was a little nervous that our waiter was very talkative and boisterous at first (we are quieter folks, and were a bit tired for the whole song and dance), but he seemed to pick up on our vibe, calmed down, and was very helpful and sweet.
