10/10This is a fantastic restaurant for Americans visiting this neighborhood in Rome. The food is freshly prepared, the staff provides excellent customer service and the owner is very gracious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was freshly prepared, the cutomer service was excellent and the host was very gracious. The restaurant is also beautifully designed and decorated. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this neighborhood in Rome. We had a lovely dinner here on a beautiful December evening.

+1Very kind and accommodating staff... When they were available. Full of food tour tagliere tasting groups, 2/3 of patrons. Sformatino of zucchine with Parmesan cream was delicious, as was the cut and cook of the guanciale on the carbonara. Nicely curated small wine selection, though a bit pricey. Table not ready for our reservation, but this is a small space, and they generously offered glasses of prosecco while we waited. Ricotta and porcini ravioli (5 for €23) not very strongly tasting of mushroom, and the pretty saffron cream on them was a bit low in quantity and over reduced/tacky/dry. Tagliatelle on the carbonara was overcooked. Torta Caprese had spot-on cocoa and almond taste, but was a bit dry/crumbly, came with canned whipped cream and only a slight afterthought of pistachio cream. Staff generously offered a limoncello digestivo Afterwards, but getting their attention was not particularly easy. €95 for 1 app, 2 pastas, 1 dolce, and 3 glasses of wine (2 people). A bit too hip.

Dani, Princess, Patrick and John went above and beyond to provide a wonderful dining experience for us. The food and service at this place is exceptional. I highly recommend Il Segreto!

The carbonara was delicious. We also had the grilled octopus that was so tender and tasty. It was a little loud, but I guess it is a good sign that everyone was happy! 😀. Service was impeccable. I would highly recommend

10/10The food was impeccable. Service was great. Shoutout to the staff who went above and beyond for our family and even making sure our 1 year old feels comfortable. The bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella and carbonara were the standouts.

10/10This was the best service we had in Rome hands down!! Our server Daniel was so attentive and kind. The food was excellent and a good portion. I could not suggest this restaurant enough! Also when one of us forgot a book, another server ran far down the block to bring it to us. Unbelievable!
