Great food and service. They promptly honored our 50% Fork deal when they originally had put only 20% on the bill and we pointed it out.

Wow. This is the dinner I had been waiting for ! Authentic , fresh , complex flavors of all the best that Roman cuisine can bring to the senses !! Just fabulous . Wait staff was well trained and attentive . We will definite go back !!! THIS is the place I needed to find after a few nights of expensive mediocrity in Rome . Experience this place!!!

The food was excellent, although the menu was quite small and had only a few options for vegetarians. The wine selection was good and reasonably priced. The waiting staff were efficient and had good English but the restaurant was quite plain and lacked atmosphere.

Nice surprise. The carbonara was lovely. Very reasonable prices. The table was upstairs in a cosy and relatively quiet area. Well worth a vist.

We were part of the early seating having just arrived from Sicily, we found this near our lodging and were eager for something better than a Cornetto from the train station. Ramona greeted us in flawless English (and Spanish) bringing us to a quiet table close to the kitchen. This was a big win for us as the waiters were always checking in on us as they went to pick up orders. Ramona talked us into a few of the house specials like Parmigiana alla Sampietrino and Butter and Anchovy pasta Sampietrino. Both were tasty and carefully made. Carbonara and lamb chops also got devoured along the way. For dessert the Torta Sampietrino was generous spice cake with cream and peach topping. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Later in the evening it got louder but we did not have any issues with the noise.

Our meal was excellent and the staff was very accommodating of our son who unexpectedly did not enjoy his pasta dish (it was very good but he can be particular about his food at times) and they insisted on freshly preparing him something else. The trippa alla romana in particular was excellent as were our other mains and we enjoyed a good desert and amaro afterward. We would gladly return!

Friendly prompt service, lovely atmospheric interior with the ancient Roman walls featured inside and outside on view opposite. Food was pleasant, and prices reasonable. € 75 for 1 shared primo, 2 secondi, 1 bottle of wine, 1 bottle of water.
