10/10Silvestre is simply wonderful, from its exceptionally varied menu and wine list to its attentive service and inviting decor. It has a soul, or perhaps two, thanks to its owners Guillermo and Marta. We visited three times during our recent stay in Barcelona and each was special. The only difficulty you will have is deciding on which dishes to have. Be sure to make a reservation, though, as it has a loyal clientele (note: although The Fork will allow you to book an 8:00 PM seating, the first available for dinner is actually 8:30).

9/10this restaurant is a great find. the food is non pretentious yet of supreme quality in term of ingredients preparation, presentation and of course taste.

Si buscásemos en una guía ‘locales clásicos y elegantes' probablemente el primero que aparecería sería Silvestre. Este local de la zona alta rebosa buen gusto y exquisitez, con sus manteles blanquísimos, su suelo de madera y sus confortables sillas que invitan a las largas y relajadas sobremesas. Cuenta, además, con diversas salas, todas ellas coquetas y elegantes, en función de las necesidades de un comensal que va a disfrutar de una experiencia gastronómica única, basada en la cocina mediterránea de temporada.
Equilibrio y elegancia son dos adjetivos que definen a la perfección un restaurante que puede resultar el marco perfecto para esas salidas intergeneracionales en familia. Su cocina mediterránea de mercado se muestra felizmente alejada de las sorpresas e incluye numerosas pinceladas delicatessen para satisfacer a los paladares más exigentes. Prueba de ello son el ceviche de pulpo o los ñoquis caseros con boloñesa de buey de mar, que conviven con una amplia carta de carnes y pescados.
El tataki de salmón cocinado como una fondue es una delicia.
