The staff at the entire hotel are extremely accommodating and kind. They really go out of their way! Can’t recommend this highly enough. The view was mesmerising and is the best in the area. The food and wine was exquisite and came in good sized portions.

We are on our mini-honeymoon and arranged for a meal at the Splendido grille - the hotel, restaurant and atmosphere were absolutely outstanding. A very luxe and chic ambience with the most amazing views of Portofino bay. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive and we appreciated the excellent service HOWEVER we were disappointed with our actual meal - we ordered the octopus and while the presentation was great the meat was fatty and tough, the sauce was bitter and unpleasant. I had the sea bass which was just OK but it came with no sides just the fish and a mustard sauce which was also meh. My husband had the short rib and it was ok but not great and his side was a plain boiled potato, the somewhat small selection of champagnes and wines were excessively expensive overall the cost was close to $500 and for that price I would expect the actual food to be more tasty. Again the atmosphere, views, service were amazing just not the food - best experience was at the piano bar upstairs after we should have just gone with that!
