The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and especially the fado musicians who played live in front of us Would recommend everyone tries this place out. Thanks to Bhagwati for great service too!

The friendly service, the delicious food, and the Fado music. The Fado musicians made a point of talking with us and explaining their instruments, very interesting. Hugely enjoyable evening.

Typical restaurant for tourists, tables very close to one another and the fado was approximately 10 minutes.

Read about this place on the fork and thought we'd give it a try. We went quite early in the evening so was only us and one other table in the restaurant. They had Faso singers on who were I must say excellent. The food was delicious and served to us by very friendly young staff. Had it been busier I think it would have obviously had much more atmosphere but it was a very nice meal.

Great olives bread and grilled fish. Some fine Alentejo wines. And Fado guitar and singing music adds to the atmosphere ( no fixed charge for Fado but tips are sought )

The waiters were nice and the food was good, but the main dish portions were small (I had the Polvo à Lagareiro). What I really didn’t like was that the first time the bill came to the table, there was no TheFork discount… I asked for it and they gave us 30% when in the reservation clearly said 50%, I almost had to “fight for it” show the reservation on my phone, where it said 50%… I mean, don’t the restaurants have access to that?
