Cute, rustic restaurant with friendly service. We’ve been staying in Tuscany for several days already and had some amazing pasta and local dishes. We decided to order the unique dishes at Taverna di Mozart for a change of pace. Bad decision. Each of the five dishes we ordered was a disappointment. And to add to our disappointment, the total bill was so much more expensive than the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in Montepulciano. If you want to find a place to impress a date with romantic ambience and high price tags, this is the place to go. If you want a quality, unpretentious meal, go elsewhere.

Some of the best food I've had so far in Tuscany (get the pici with the white boar ragu), genuinely accommodating and knowledgeable staff, and a 270 degree view of the rolling hills and farm landscapes that's to die for. Be aware you'll have to go on a little off-roading adventure to reach the place, so don't be alarmed. Excellent ambiance and rustic charm.
