No major complaints, the food was good, the service okay and the ambiance... what ambiance? It's a difficult to find hole in the wall, but decent if you know and crave Goan food

The food was excellent and the green wine is now my new favorite. The service was a bit slow but they were busy and only 2 people for the entire restaurant. Also only accepted cash, so bring some!

+1It’s always a pleasure and a delicious moment to eat here. We had shrimp samosa for the first time and how delicious they were! Highly recommend leaning into the menu with a big round of appetizers

Wonderful food in this longstanding, tucked away restaurant in Mouraria. Delicious and authentic. We returned after several years and it was as good as we remembered!

Enjoyed a very pleasant dinner of authentic Goan food, particularly some Chicken Xacuti, that was tender, deeply rich in flavor, and spicy enough to be a nice contrast to most of the other Portuguese flavors of our trip. The staff was pleasant and willing to explain the menu, and the food brought out reasonably auickly and obviously freshly produced. Overall, a great price for a nice dining experience.

Best experience ever! They are really great, excellent food and best people! Food was very authentic and super tasty! We did not have euros with us and they were willing to accept usd$$, great owner and people! Definitely have to try this restaurant!! Their food and people are 100%!

Authentic taste, except maybe for the vindaloo. Xacuti, Goan curries and shrimp samosas were fantastic. Friendly service. Space is cramped a bit and gets warm so dress light.

This is a tiny restaurant with average food. Good for a change. Best item we ordered was masala prawns - but my pet peeve is the dish had 3 prawns still fully with the shell on. Way too much work. Staff was friendly enough. I would not return.

It was excellent. Don’t expect a regular Indian restaurant. Goa may be an Indian state, but the culinary experience is different. We liked it in any way.

The food was a delight, original, novel, probably Goan (I'm no expert in Goan) but a novel take on the classical "Indian" food cuisine. Full of interest, well made and a pleasure. Papads fried! So much better than the dry baked ones. Lots of chilli, and they are happy to adjust it to your taste, more, or less. 4 tables filled out of 6 (I think), a tiny space, but with less than 100% occupancy perfectly acceptable without claustrophobia. The restaurant is in a tiny little alley and you only see it once you're there. No flashy signs and extra lights, just one door like the other little houses. Now to the real special thing: The lady in charge is absolutely sold gold. It's for sure her restaurant. She seems at first business-like and professional, but not noticeably warm; perhaps she is trying to see what her next customer is going to be like. But after that, just a wonderful helpful, friendly, funny, cheerful, communicative host, a pleasure to be with. Frankly, taking everything together, this really is a lovely restaurant. I should add, one can see the chefs at work from the tables, two beautiful young people, both from Nepal, cheerful and hard-working. Also a pleasure
