The decor was amazing with originals frescos from the 15-16th century but the star was the food which was both interesting and delicious. The staff were friendly and super helpful. You’ll definitely want to come just for their pesto.

The service was very attentive, but the food was unfortunately very disappointing, especially not at Michelin level. Some of the fish dishes were too fishy and some dishes on the meat menu were oversalted. No finesse in the dishes, sometimes the same base is used for different menus.

Beware of wine recommendations that skew towards overpriced Tuscans. There is a huge selection of great Italian wines that are very well priced.

The lady that served me Matilda was sincere and full of passion and give good service. Restaurant does not have menu for those who is taking non alcoholic drinks and so they will make something to what they have .

Beautiful venue and beautiful looking food. Whilst the presentation of the food was immaculate it lacked flavour. Staff were lovely and accommodating but I would not say the service was up there with other starred establishments. Worth a visit for the exquisite surroundings.

The service was amazing and the focaccia was fantastic. The two meat dishes of the chef's tasting had way too much salt and the second meat dish was tough. Definitely not the quality I expected!

We decided to come here for a nice dinner in Genoa. The server and sommelier were both fantastic and the food was amazing! We ordered from the Fish tasting menu and the paired wines, they were great !

For context, this restaurant is rated 1-star by the Michelin guide, for a minimum of 200 euro per person. As we walked in, the sommelier dropped and broke a wine bottle at our feet. Accidents happen. The food was trying to be fancy but the combinations of flavors just made no sense on most dishes. The "burger" was largely uneatable, as the frozen bread couldn't be cut. Bathroom had no towels, guess we used our garments. The Chef spent most of the night talking to his friends at one table, instead of doing his job in the kitchen. Finally, they overcharged us on the bill, which I pointed out after paying, at which point said Chef handed me a few bills from his pocket (with a dark look) to compensate. It was quite surreal, and maybe they just had a bad night. I guess it makes for a memorable experience, but unfortunately on the negative side of the spectrum. Not sure what happened to the Michelin guide here... Avoid at all cost.

I had the fish tasting menu with high-end wine pairing. The food is fantastic, very innovative, and the wines really interesting. The chef spends time with every table and the sommelier is truly knowledgeable. Great experience.

we took the fish menu. I can't say that it is fantastic. it is good, but that it. wine list and champagne was perfect, even the desert was good, but the food did not surprised me. after was a little bit heavy in the stomach.
