10/10We decided to come here for a nice dinner in Genoa. The server and sommelier were both fantastic and the food was amazing! We ordered from the Fish tasting menu and the paired wines, they were great !

4/10For context, this restaurant is rated 1-star by the Michelin guide, for a minimum of 200 euro per person. As we walked in, the sommelier dropped and broke a wine bottle at our feet. Accidents happen. The food was trying to be fancy but the combinations of flavors just made no sense on most dishes. The "burger" was largely uneatable, as the frozen bread couldn't be cut. Bathroom had no towels, guess we used our garments. The Chef spent most of the night talking to his friends at one table, instead of doing his job in the kitchen. Finally, they overcharged us on the bill, which I pointed out after paying, at which point said Chef handed me a few bills from his pocket (with a dark look) to compensate. It was quite surreal, and maybe they just had a bad night. I guess it makes for a memorable experience, but unfortunately on the negative side of the spectrum. Not sure what happened to the Michelin guide here... Avoid at all cost.

10/10I had the fish tasting menu with high-end wine pairing. The food is fantastic, very innovative, and the wines really interesting. The chef spends time with every table and the sommelier is truly knowledgeable. Great experience.

10/10Nice variations in the menu; the possibility to mix between the fish and the meet menu was appreciated. Excellent service. Good variation of wine selection with the menu and as well appreciated, that once a glass was empty, it was refilled

10/10Beautiful restaurant. Staff very welcoming and explained clearly the contents of the dishes. Bonnes bouche were delicious and a lovely start to the meal. There was a choice of four or five courses, each one different and light so a well balanced meal. The wine list is extensive so plenty of choice over all price ranges.

10/10We had a lovely dinner and wonderful experience. Service was very good - but a bit too fast in the beginning, until we asked for it to be slowed down. The food was very tasty - the only thing missing was more greens/vegetables.

5.5/10We were met at the front door by a girl who seem to have no idea why we were there. Eventually she went and got the person who runs front of the house who was extremely charming and looked after us all evening. However, for that whole evening there was a group of 3 staff who stood around our table, just a bit too close, half leaning over the table to see how we were getting on and asking for too many times if everything was okay. At one point my plate was taken before my friend had finished eating and onto other occasions we had to stop them taking a plate away while the other person was eating, the rum is very beautiful but lit in a rather odd way which diminishes the ambience. The wine list is excellent and fairly priced and so now to the quality of the food. There is clearly a lot of talent in the kitchen certainly a lot of processes but I sometimes wonder if they actually are tasting their food. Of the seven courses we had, only two really came up to the standard one might expect of such a grand and expensive restaurant. An opening dish of veal tongue was really a plate with two different dishes on it. I still don’t understand really how ricotta and zucchini are meant to balance out a slowly cooked piece of meat. The star of the evening was a plate of home-made pasta with a sweetened butter Base and various other little bits and bobs. It was utterly delicious. There was also an intense meat jus in one of the dishes which was splendid. There was one dish which was sort of Pomme purée, and at the base of it some rather dry overcooked, chicken or pork. It was hard to tell what it was. The sweetbreads were perfectly cooked . After a dessert of tiramisu covered in Spanish sugar, they arrived a ferris wheel of various petit fours. This was a big statement and fun to look at but the contents of each basket on the ferris wheel was less than interesting. Maybe we caught it on a bad day$2 But my feeling is that there is huge potential here, but the kitchen really needs to think carefully about what is putting on these plates not just focus on process but fundamentally on taste. If all dishes were as good as that spaghetti dish it with deserve two Michelin stars, however, from my experience, it doesn’t deserve one. I should point out that the maitre d’ was excellent and really running the front of house on his own. The other staff seemed quite unnecessary.

8/10The restaurant was a little difficult to locate and the parking was a big challenge. Once we arrived, we were greeted kindly. We were a bit confused about the menu and we would have preferred the ability to order individual dishes rather than a tasting of 4 or 5 courses only. Extensive wine menu! Each dish was an exciting adventure. The presentations were amazing! Chef was visible throughout the experience but unfortunately did not speak with us personally (likely due to us not speaking Italian). The pasta with rib ragu and beet dish was quite possibly one of the best dishes both of us have ever eaten! The onion jel was beyond delicious and quite brilliant. OUTSTANDING and wish we had more! We were quite full by the time our dessert arrive (referencing again that we didn't want to eat a large meal). The surprise complimentary ice cream (sparkling cucumber and green apple brought back fond childhood memories of "pop rocks") was brilliant! The final carousel of desserts was visually so much fun! Cheers to a great Chef who clearly has great passion for his craft!

10/10Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Genoa with ceilings and walls covered with murals by Bernard Strozzi. The server "Cataldo" was absolutely charming. The menu crafted by Chef Ivano was spectacular ... ending the meal with an absolutely unique dessert visit to "Luna Park". When in Genoa again, we will return!
