Great restaurant with friendly staff who make a little chat and recommend dishes when asked. We liked that they tell something about the history of the restaurant as well. The food was great. especially the pestosauce was amazing. Highly recommended restaurant.

I was lucky enough to eat in the private "pozzo" (10€ cover charge), it was hot, but atmosphere was really unique. The food was good and following local standards, it is recommended for a private special night!

Really tasty and well presented food. Pisto to die for especially with perfectly cooked pasta. Very nice fish. Different and tasty steak tartare. Great location in an ages old building - according to the waiter a restaurante has been there since the 1400s. Tiny kitchen and little kitchen staff - don’t know how they do it. Friendly staff and service. Definitely worth it and great way to end our staff in Genova.

Everything about this restaurant is utter perfection. I want to give them a million stars, but I also want to keep them a secret because they are so delicious. Absolutely come here for an authentic meal. I never had octopus before. I tried it here and it was a heavenly experience. This is very clearly family-run and you can tell they take pride in their place. Well done. We will definitely be coming back here again next time we come to Genova. They were also so accommodating with my terrible Italian. Grazie mille!

We enjoyed the fresh pasta and risotto. The pasta with pesto came out cold, but it was tasty. All the other dishes arrived hot and were really delicious. Our server was excellent.

The food, ambience and service were all outstanding! The tagliarini with prawns and truffles was the best pasta dish I’ve had so far in Italy. The restaurant is beautiful and everything about the evening was great.

Great atmosphere, soft music , great decor. I don’t think the pictures really give it justice. Food was amazing, with local flavours. Disappointed to see the table next to me ordering spaghetti bolognese. Dear fellow customers please look at the menu and choose! I just want to highlight that the waiter was very considerate about my allergies. He double and triple checked which I appreciated. I’ll be back 😊

Very good service, both waitress and maitre de salle were very nice and friendly, the food was abundant and good quality. We have been allowed a discount because we didn't like the dessert. Really appreciated and we are likely to come back

Food was good, but no extra taste or special herbs etc. had to add salt/ oil - atmosphere is nice, but ventilation & air con did not work well. Overall good but not the exception we expected

Expensive small portion restaurants are expected to offer a very tasty and sophisticated food. It is not the case, the food is common. But expensive and small portions.
