The place is very cosy. The food is exquisite: we tried a vegetable pie as a starter, as well as octopus with pesto. We also had poached egg with truffle, truffle pasta, gnocchi, and another wide pasta with pesto sauce. For dessert, we had an apple cake, a pistachio cake, and a red berry bavarois, which was delicious. There is a good wine list. The service is extremely friendly: Matteo and Zoe looked after us, were attentive at all times, and gave us excellent advice on the wine. A place definitely worth coming back to.

since we did not have a reservation we were seated outside. the food was good, the fried artichokes very very good.

Nice restaurant. Tasty dishes. We enjoyed our dinner. If you like truffles go for it.

Ambiance was very nice. Food was great but not perfect. Service was good but not perfect as we had to wait a long time to get service. Desert was arguable but far from perfect. Price vs quality I would say less than adequate. Bottom line: 5/10

Lovely welcome, great service and excellent quality food. Seafood was the highlight and very successful, if rather experimental! Lovely lady who seemed to be running the place was especially attentive.

Great restaurant with friendly staff who make a little chat and recommend dishes when asked. We liked that they tell something about the history of the restaurant as well. The food was great. especially the pestosauce was amazing. Highly recommended restaurant.

We have visited the restaurant for the second time ans were nit disappointed. Very cosy, wAtm atmosphere and delicious food.

I was lucky enough to eat in the private "pozzo" (10€ cover charge), it was hot, but atmosphere was really unique. The food was good and following local standards, it is recommended for a private special night!

Really tasty and well presented food. Pisto to die for especially with perfectly cooked pasta. Very nice fish. Different and tasty steak tartare. Great location in an ages old building - according to the waiter a restaurante has been there since the 1400s. Tiny kitchen and little kitchen staff - don’t know how they do it. Friendly staff and service. Definitely worth it and great way to end our staff in Genova.

Everything about this restaurant is utter perfection. I want to give them a million stars, but I also want to keep them a secret because they are so delicious. Absolutely come here for an authentic meal. I never had octopus before. I tried it here and it was a heavenly experience. This is very clearly family-run and you can tell they take pride in their place. Well done. We will definitely be coming back here again next time we come to Genova. They were also so accommodating with my terrible Italian. Grazie mille!

We enjoyed the fresh pasta and risotto. The pasta with pesto came out cold, but it was tasty. All the other dishes arrived hot and were really delicious. Our server was excellent.

The food, ambience and service were all outstanding! The tagliarini with prawns and truffles was the best pasta dish I’ve had so far in Italy. The restaurant is beautiful and everything about the evening was great.
