Family run businesses usually have a certain warmth, and although the waiter was welcoming, the rest of the staff mistook coldness for professionalism. The tuna was overcooked, the pasta was overcooked. Compared to other restaurants in Palermo it was rather expensive for the offer.

Greeted at the door. When we asked for fish, was shown a showcase of what was available. We chose the sea bass which was grilled perfectly. We also chose an eggplant dish which we all loved. The atmosphere and pace of dinner was just what we were looking for to enjoy with our dear friends. Price was reasonable.

The spaghetti and clams were superb, with equal amounts of both served in a garlicky oil and parsley sauce. The clams were plump with a hint of the sea. I’m afraid to say more because it may become impossible to get a table. However, I discovered THE dessert I would like for my birthday: lemon tiramisu topped with strawberries.
