This place feels somewhat overratedBit chaotic, drink orders or presenting the bill request weren’t really followed up, long wait for drinks to come. No checks from the waiters themselves, needed to call their attention all of the time. Staff was not unfriendly, but since the prices are above Italians average standards I was expecting a bit more. Sorry guys!

I loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant. The decor made it feel very authentic. I tried their Botta Ri Sali cocktail and it was truly the most unique drink i’ve ever had. I usually like sweet cocktails, so it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea as it really imitated sea water, but i enjoyed it nonetheless. The food was also really good. Would definitely come back if i’m ever in Palermo again.

Locale is a very attractive, slightly bohemian looking place. We asked for and got an inside table with good A/C, which was appreciated. The music, (mainly Cuban) was great, and the food was delicious, particularly the lamb. Service was efficient, but not very friendly, and I’m sorry to say the older male waiter smelt rather ‘unwashed’, and wasn’t very welcoming.

Recommend by our hotel and so glad they did. A wet night outside, but the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. Great food, good wine and really nice to see everyone enjoying their evening together. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

We were eating in this fantastic restaurant 3 times during our vacation. Food, service and location were amazing and if we will visit Palermo again, our first dinner will be here for sure. Highly recommended, great and very smart seafood creations, beautiful deserts and great service. A place to stay even longer after dinner since a great Cocktail bar is included and serves high quality drinks. Thanks 2 the staff of locale in Palermo !

Hotel Alma recommended the Locale for dinner. What a sweet restaurant. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the hotel. The service was superb, the drinks were stellar and the food was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

A place where locals eat and drink. Cosy atmosphere, fantastic live music and all these together with great food. Already decided to go again the last night prior we leave Palermo

Starters were good but then nearly an hour wait (in a stifling unventilated room) for mains which were very inconsistent. The steak was tough and chewy but burger was good. Server was friendly but not very responsive
