We found this small intimate restaurant up a side street on our last night in Desenzano. So wish we had found it earlier though. Booked online after reading great reviews .. greeted by Dennis who was our server, concierge and sommelier throughout our meal. Consummate service, speaks great English and was very well presented himself. Our caprese salad starter was delicious, simple but flavoursome with a fab balsamic vinegar. We both enjoyed an amazing fillet steak cooked to perfection for us, just off rare .. with a super peppercorn sauce. Melted in the mouth! Sides of baked potatoes and grilled vegetables to share completed our secondo course. We shared the passionfruit cheesecake which we’d read about and enjoyed. A bottle of local Garda red wine was a great accompaniment as recommended by Dennis. Set off the meat and peppercorn sauce just perfectly. There were a few local Italian diners there too so I’d say an even better recommendation to share such a fabulous menu. A great find !
