When I heard authentic, I expected real Spanish food. I expected some good fish, good steak and some really good soup, but to fly across the world for valentine and did not get good food, was really disappointing. The experience was out of this world, meaning, the service was great. The servers were really nice and I like that the bartender brought the bar over to our table and made our drinks. Overall, I won’t recommend because the food was not my kind of food.

Everything is not in standard with this price. I am now understand why Xerta is out of Michelin one star ranking in 2025. For me, it's not even qualitify for Michelin selected restaurant. Xerta is just a normal restaurant and the menu is overpriced

Really terrible experience. They pretend to be Michelin Star— even having the Michelin plate on their front door— but they are not. The staff are over loaded, missing basics of service, and were suspended we were unhappy. We had the full menu and all dishes were bad…the fish wellington was not edible and ‘Yule log’ was a mess.

This is our fourth time coming to this restaurant every time we visit Barcelona. It never disappoints. The staff is friendly and the chefs are fantastic. We usually get the prefix menu as it offers the most for your money. Might come here one last time before leaving for the states.
