8.5/10Not quite knowing what to expect we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Being lunchtime in July it was fairly empty so not much to base the ambience on but the small restaurant is well laid out, comfortable an inviting.

10/10The lamb tagine tastes like in Morocco, tender and soft to the palate. Slightly sweet and spicy. Delicious. Also the lamb skewers are quite nice as well as the couscous. Nice little restaurant in the neighborhood

10/10The kebabs and the little mimosa things are 2.50 for ONE but I think are still a better value then getting a dish

10/10A real gem in a relatively secluded area, Zahara has a homely feel and provides superb service that leaves one feeling extremely comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, some highlights being the moruno, harira, lamb that was literally fall-off-the-bone soft and the Moroccan delights with tea. Extremely satisfying!

9.5/10The pincho moruno was tasty and tender, served on a little table-top barbecue. Lamb tagine also very good. The place keeps some of the vibe of a bar for locals in this historically working class district, off the normal tourist trail. They have set up a little zone with low tables and Moroccan-style cushions/decor, a fun contrast with the the traditional tables, bar, TV and football fan-club decor at the other end of the space.
