Located within the elegant old-world charm of the Gran Hotel Liberty, 1910 Lounge and Bistro is tucked about 50 metres past reception. We were seated outside on the terrace under cover, as heavy rain poured down – a charming setting despite the weather. Ambience and Service: The terrace is cozy and well-sheltered, offering a pleasant view even in poor weather. Service was generally fine, though there was a notable delay in the arrival of our primi – we ordered around 8.05PM and didn’t receive them until 8:30 PM. Coperto: The meal began with a generous bread selection, including a variety of breads and breadsticks served with a very good quality olive oil. A nice start. Wine: We had a bottle of Marchesi di Barolo, which was very good value and paired well with the meal. Primi • Fresh Bigoli Pasta – Served with lake sardines, leek, fennel, and toasted breadcrumbs. It was my worst eating experience for a long time. Value for money was 1/100. The only bad eating experience among 10 days of enjoyable food to some wonderful food experiences. The city should protect visitors by closing your expensive restaurant producing such terrible food. Noel

Charming place with delicious food very close to the harbor of Riva. Service people like working here and create a nice atmosphere. We sat on the terrace with a beautiful view to the old building and the garden.

The ingredients were seasonal and regional, and we loved the pasta dishes and the dessert. The starters were less convincing - the truffle slices tasted slightly old and the char in the smoked fish starter tasted muddy. The staff billed us more drinks than we had ordered, but we pointed out the mistake and didn't have to pay more than we had actually consumed.

It was our last night in Riva del Garda, and probably our favourite dinner. The food was so good, the staff friendly and even helped us take photos to remember the occasion. The setting is very picturesque, you wouldn't think you're a few minutes walk away from the town square. All in all, a lovely night and would definitely eat there again.

Staff here are really exceptional. From the moment we walked in, they were attentive to every need. Just the right level of attention without ever feeling too close or overbearing. The wine selection from Oscar was spot on and complemented our meal perfectly. Food was excellent, fish was cooked perfectly: scallops were just seared enough to be hot throughout but still tender, Tuna and salmon were both still pink in the centre, but hot. Thank you for a great evening!
