10/10We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to have dinner in an Italian family atmosphere. The food was terrific as well as the wine. The host had a really great selection of pasta and wine even though it’s a small restaurant. Definitely put this restaurant on your list for Lake Maggiore - you will be thrilled with the experience

9/10Great find convenient to our air B&B. The steak was delicious and served on a hot stone to be cooked more or less based on preference. The lasagna was tasty and the wine was delicious! The proprietor was pleasant and accommodating.

2.5/10We ordered appetizer, risotto and polenta. The appetizer was not the one we ordered (we ordered warm + cold cuts, we got cheese + cold cuts). We did not complain. The risotto was really raw, we sent it back, we heard the waiter and cook complaining about the fact that by sending it back we did not respect them, that we are idiots. They remade it. The cook came and told us that the kind of rice he used does not get creamy like a risotto should be. He said that he precooks all the risotto and then cook it for few minutes with the chosen sauce. The polenta was not cook at all and very grainy, and came with the wrong umido (normal sausage instead of boar tapelucco). Overall, I ate the second risotto not to fight as it was our anniversary, but my wife left every dish except for the appetizer. In the end we talked to other people seating there and they were complaining as well.

9.5/10Third visit in three years. Same great experience. After the legendary "antipasto misto" which could be considered the chef's signature, we had delicious trout and excellent grilled beef. The owners are very friendly, they remembered specific details of our last visit two years ago. And finally, the bill is always a pleasant surprise. Around 25 euro's each.

10/10amazing food for a very cheap price, very welcoming and smiling people, i would definitely go back there anytime...the started freddo-caldo is one of the best starter i had in my life..and i m italian

4/10We had to wait too long for just having the lists... The waiters didn't know where the things were and they seemed to not getting along very well with each other. The chef came out of the kitchen saying he didn't know how many dishes he had to prepare. Very disappointing. The food was ok, but nothing special.
