It was my birthday and I made a reservation. I felt that the service was very slow and the waiter would not check in on me to see if I needed anything. I ordered a drink and I had to ask for it again.. the amount of times that we try to get the waiters attention was more than two times just for us to order our appetizers. The food came at random times for for example, some appetizers came and some mains came., but then other friends were left without their mains, which was kind of weird. Nobody checked if we needed anything else, and it took a while to clear our plates and glasses, which was really annoying. I also asked the staff THREE times to bring my birthday cake., as some people at my party needed to leave and catch the train back to Barcelona. I wish the service was better. I would've left way more generous tip, but the fact that we were ignored and the waiter is kept switching, and the fact that we didn't have a designated waiter was really strange for me.

They have a nice, diverse menu. The food was tasty. They make good cocktails. The location is really beautiful. But the service was terrible. It took 2 hours after we sat down for our main courses to arrive, after we'd attempted to order as soon as we sat down. When I asked for one extra glass for our sangria, that took 15 minutes to arrive. Just a glass! It's a shame because I love this restaurant. I hope they can fix their service issues.

This vibrant restaurant serves delicious food in a fantastic location along the Saint Sebastian promenade. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The only drawback is that service can be somewhat slow due to the restaurant's popularity. However, the beautiful view provides a great way to pass the time, and there are usually plenty of street performers to keep you entertained.

I've been to Amanit many,many times in the last few years and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. But having been there 4-5 times in the past few months, it's changed...something sadly always seems to go wrong. Long delays, incorrect orders and they appear to be constantly understaffed - resulting in very stressed staff and a tangible tension in the air. The food is also nowhere near as delicious as it has been in the past. I hope very much the management read this so they can get this lovely cafe/restaurant/bar back to where it used to be.
