The setting is very good, just down from the Duomo. The menu was unexciting but the service was very good. The portions were VERY small and not very tasty. Wine was overpriced.

The location and ambience at Amuni is excellent but we were disappointed by the service. It took forever to obtain the bill at the end of the dinner despite multiple requests. In addition, there were two items on the menu that we were told were "out" even though the restaurant opened at 7:30 and our reservation began at 8:00. Perhaps both of these problems will get ironed out in time but we were disappointed.

Staff very attentive, made to feel very welcome. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Did not feel rushed, everything delivered with information regarding the food served.

This restaurant was outstanding. The food was complex and thought out. The waiters(both Giuseppe) were impeccable. The raw sea bass with pesto cream was unforgettable!! I am a 60 year old restauranteur from new york. Have seen more Tiramisu than most. This was unquestionably the best i ever had. If you are in Ortigia, don't miss this experience

What an exquisite and delightful dinner. The food was astonishing and the service was very cordial and attentive. The location is magical and lends itself to a truly Italian feel atmosphere. Even on hot summer nights, due to the surrounding space of piazza Minerva, one doesn’t feel closed in and a nice gentle breeze flows. I will certainly be returning and cannot recommend enough.
