The food was good, and the atmosphere was original! It reminds me of an old Italian hosteria. The seafood risotto is more like a sort of paella! But it was well-cooked.

Not sure if it was an off night, but the seafood does not taste fresh. It tasted like it was a few days old, especially the scallops. It seemed like a tourist trap.

Really enjoyed the chestnut ravioli- not too rich and very tasty. Husband had salmon and enjoyed it too. Nice location next to canal. Was disappointed we didn’t get the table I asked for and it was offered to another couple straight after, and there is quite a ‘hard sell’ feeling to buy extras (eg starters, sides, extra drinks) but all in all was a really nice meal.

Ambiance and service were excellent. Food left a little to be desired. For example, ordered the pasta and shrimp main dish, and it only came with 3 small shrimp.

Staff was super helpful and professional and the food was great. I ordered the catch of the day - Sea Bass. It comes out as a complete cooked fish. I had no idea how to fillet it. My waiter (I wish I had asked his name) did a masterful job of preparing the fish for eating before our eyes in just a few minutes - all while answering my non-stop questions. Very nice and helpful staff. Great service. Great food. And you’re in Venice on a beautiful evening. Does it get any better than that?

A memorable experience! Reserve a table by the canal during sunset and let the amazing staff indulge you in a perfect dinner. All dishes were delicious, reasonably priced, excellent service, clean toilets, 10/10 ambiance! Highly recommended!
