The food was very salty, but it was affordable, so I ate well. The problem arose during payment. I selected EUR on the card reader, but it processed in USD, so I removed my card from the reader. When trying to pay again, I selected EUR twice, but the reader still displayed USD. The host assured me that even though it showed USD, it would be charged in EUR, and prompted me to confirm. However, the payment was processed in USD. Considering the exchange rate of approximately 1.05:1, the payment ended up being processed at a rate of about 1.1:1, resulting in a 5% higher charge. Naturally, I requested a cancellation, but they claimed it was a bank issue and insisted they couldn’t cancel the payment, giving me intimidating looks. I had no choice but to leave. I recommend this place for those who enjoy salty food and are not sensitive to prices. However, I found this kind of service very unpleasant.

This is a MUST visit restaurant in Lisbon. Intimate experience. The women are extremely welcoming, warm and helpful. You can tell they cook from the heart. Very simple menu but everything we had was some of the most flavorful, delicious food in Lisbon. Just make a reservation and go.

I loved the laid-back environment and the attentive service, but thought not all dishes were great. The breaded shrimp and the bow were unexciting. on the positive side, the rice was quite nice and desserts were unforgettable. The apple crumble with sour cream, is an innovative combination that works perfectly. The chocolate mousse was really good quality, too! Also had the best organic wine ever! I will definitely be back, but would be a regular if they would have less fried options.

Charming restaurant with really great food! We loved that. Small place but really nice. We had and shared several “experience” from a superb Cevice to a tasty Tartar. Soooo good. We will repeat for sure if and when we will come back from Italy to Lisboa!

As Ladras was recommended to me by a tour guide. I am often skeptical of this kind of recommendation but the online reviews and ratings were good and the menu looked excellent. It's a very small place at the bottom of a very steep but not to big hill, which made me feel virtuous for climbing back up after dinner. I had steak tartare with chips and chocolate mouse, a glass of wine and ginji with my dessert. The food was incredibly fresh with high quality ingredients, and the service was friendly. Also there is an open kitchen so you can see the food being prepared. highly recommended!

Great little restaurant the food was fantastic! Service was good albeit our last dish took a good deal of time after our other two. Would recommend and liked that it felt like more of a local crowd than tourists.
