We celebrated NYE and we’re looking forward to a lovely experience. While the setting was beautiful, the food was not what was expected for the price. The service was inconsistent, as well.

We have been coming to this restaurant since we were given a friend’s recommendation 4 visits ago. We rearranged our dining schedule to enable us to dine there again. We had the best gin tonic ever the last time and I was so looking forward to that, the food & great service again. The champagne was over-poured, he seemed more interested in opening more bottles than properly serving it. We had to remind the servers 3 times for the gin tonics, 1st bottles of tonic were dropped off, then the glasses of gin poured over ice. The ice had melted & watered down the gin. The owner/server said he had something to tell us & we needed to listen. Basically, the restaurant had changed hands, had a Michelin star & they were going to change the decorations. He asked us to raise our hands as he read the menu options to count orders. The boeuf bourguignon was bland, as were my escargot, I heard the cod was overcooked and one other dish was unremarkable. We won’t be back.

Last ate her approximately 10yr ago and had an excellent meal then. This time Bon Accueil has had a significant change in the look of the interior, the menu, the wait staff and the clientele Gone is the truly old school menu for an updated and relatively short menu. Today's menu has modern items that remain enticing. List of wines by the glass is excellent and leads a short, but well thought out wine list. Overall a pleasant time, great meal, fond remembrance of times past with a look to the future.

Dinner was very good as was the ambiance. Service was courteous but VERY slow. Meal stretched over 2 hours with no dessert. Not sure it was worth the 30 minute commute.

In short, the food was extraordinary and the wine recommendation succeeded expectations. However, the ambience was a bit off in a way that co-workers would interrupt each other whilst explaining things from the menu to customers all the time. They seemed flustered but as the night die down, they showed what they are capable of. A bit more organisation perhaps?

We have been in Paris for 5 days and Au Bon Accueil was our favorite meal. The food is amazing and to have the view of the Eiffel Tower pushes it over the top. Best French Onion soup we've ever had.

We ended up in the area early and they got us in before our reservation. The staff was amazing and they spoke excellent English. All of the food was incredible and so tasty! Definitely coming back next time we visit Paris.

The food was extremely well done. The pan fried cod was so soft and yet the skin was so crispy. The braised beef is also so soft that I didn't even need a knife. The vegetable and other ingredients that came with the dishes were all very tasty. A few years ago we came here and said we had to come again. Very happy that we were not disappointed at all.

We had the worst service of our life here, which was unfortunate because the food and ambience was great. Our server, while friendly, was almost amazingly incompetent. -she upsold us a bottle of bottle of wine that was more than double the cost of our original order. We watched her do the same to our surrounding tables. - she came back to confirm our entree order twice over the course of an hour. she obviously did not put in our food order til the third time she confirmed our order, because it came almost 45 minutes later. She repeatedly returned to other tables to ask what they ordered -the couple next to us ordered the lamb, but she brought him steak. He asked if it was the lamb and she repeatedly argued with him that it was, even though it obviously was steak - another couple ordered a gin and tonic which took almost 45 minutes to arrive, it finally came without the tonic. she brought it to our table instead. Bill came out to be $260, and they had the nerve to ask for a tip

Nice local restaurant with good food but BEWARE the waiter took advantage of my friends being Americans to emphasize that the service was NOT included while it is always included in France. This is unacceptable!
