Our servers suggested an amazing wine. The atmosphere was great. The food was even better. The sound vide was an experience and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The cocktails were also good. Grazie Mille!

What a unique and delicious experience! We had a delightful dinner in this river’s edge, floating restaurant. The food was wonderful and the ambience was lovely and romantic. I’ll note that I’m not a big fan of dogs in dining areas, but this seems to be ok with the restaurant owners. Overall, an excellent experience.

Amazing location amazing vibe and ambiance. Food was really excellent. Service was fairly weak. Our server was not attentive at all. The other staff were very friendly and nice. All together still an awesome dinner… just wish our server checked in during the meal.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening sitting by the river. The waitstaff is exceptional, very attentive and most helpful in making suggestions. The fresh fish was great and the cheesecake and tiramisu delightful! The bar area has a fun vibe so you can sit there or in the open air. The mallard ducks and otter swimming by was just a little extra special. Definitely recommend this place.

I have only one big complaint about the place. Even though I made the reservation some time ago, they gave the worse table to us. When we arrived there were no people and I asked them to give us a better table. They told us that all the tables are reserved. We spent such a long time there and at least half of the tables were never occupied until we left. We went there for the river view and ambience and we ended up with a road view even though a lot of tables were empty during the time we spent there which was such a big disappointment. Food and the place were Ok. Also, they didn’t have an English menu. So I accidentally ordered wrong food -waiters allowed me to change it which was really nice and kind.

The boat looks great on the water and they honored our request for a seat by the window. The food exceeded expectations, but the dining area was a little rowdy due to a few large groups that were near us. It also was difficult to get a waiter’s attention.

There are two reasons to go to Baja: the first is the location, a floating restaurant on the Tiber River and the second is the food. The restaurant is elegant and the view on the Tiber is lovely. The food is very good, matching location. The dishes are creative, beyond classic Roman cuisine. For a tourist new to Rome, one challenge is finding the restaurant. The restaurant is below the river embankment. Our cab delivered us to a location that turned out to be a few minutes walk to the road crossing and stairs down to the river. Another challenge is that the this is not a tourist restaurant (although everyone was very nice and helpful). The menu is only in Italian. Google maps helped us find the stairs to the river and Google translate helped with the menu.

The food, the service and the location, excellent. I have been staying in Rome for 3 weeks and have dined there twice. Once for brunch outside and an evening meal. The food is interesting and great wine.

Lobster pasta had very little lobster meat and I had to ask for lobster implements to crack the claw, staff did not supply straight etc. This took away from the experience.
