The restaurant is situated on an open terrace of a large hotel. On the night in question, an unpleasant strong, chilly wind was blowing. The staff assured us that the wind would soon disappear but it didn't. They kindly offered us shawls but these were insufficient against the cold wind. We asked to be moved indoors but were told that this was not possible. In addition to our own discomfort, our food rapidly became cold and hardly worth consuming. Our red wine too, was spoiled by chilling. An expensive evening was wasted. PS. After informing the restaurant management of our experiece, we were kindly invited back for a free meal as compensation.

First restaurant where we’ve had to ask about a wine list and pour our own glasses after the first one. The bread didn’t taste fresh, and our starters were lackluster. Our main courses were nicely flavored and well-cooked, but we’ve yet to go to a restaurant here where they haven’t been. Beautiful setting, but would not recommend - too many other places have impeccable service, great views, and delicious food.

Lunch at the Belvedere was utterly magical. My mother is a well-traveled 96 years old, and she said this is the most beautiful restaurant she has been in, ever. The service under Luca, along with his brigade, was absolutely amazing. There was so much genuine warmth and delight in having us as guests, it made the excellent meal the most memorable experience. I urge anyone to bypass Positano and the “big” hotels La Sirenuse and San Pietro to come to beautiful and peaceful Ravello and enjoy the Belmond Hotel Caruso and it’s gorgeous terrace restaurant.

Hi up in Ravello is a beautiful restaurant with amazing views definitely worth the stair climb good food great service wine a little expensive but sipping on a nice cold glass of white wine while over looking gods creation divine

Location is good. Ambiance is ruled by the amazing views of Ravello. Very comfortable seating. Excellent service. Dodd is less than regular and too expensive.
