4.5/10Atmosphere was okay, service was friendly. But the food was awful! Way too expensive for what it’s worth. You’re better off going to a place that has a lunch day menu (3-course). which is the same price you would pay for a main here but not worth it. They say fries is Belgian but you get the typical fries from a fast food ( which might even has better fries than this restaurant, they don’t serve the typical Belgian ones). There were a lot of super tiny (literally 1-2cm) double-fry pieces too. I saw the other tables barely even touched their food. The beef stew itself was not good at all.

10/10This little restaurant was just what we needed. Really good, warm, home cooked Belgium dishes, and owners at this restaurant make you feel especially welcome. I would definitely go back.

10/10This is one of the best places if you value good food at reasonable prices with friendly and efficient service, and great atmosphere. It's a little away from the tourist traps and has a really authentic feel. Great for an evening out with friends.

10/10Big Mama was a wonderful find! It offers some traditional Belgium dishes as well as some classics. Food quality was superb. The owner is very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. It has a good, but not overwhelming selection of Belgium beers, and the house white wine is outstanding! I would highly recommend Big Mama for excellent food, very reasonably priced, with above par service.
