9.5/10We looked up the restaurant on Trip Advisor and was were impressed with the reviews. The staff was friendly and helpful in selecting our wine and food choices. The food was great and we plan a return visit next time in Paris.

10/10Super bistro with an excellent, classic jazz vibe. Quiet, heartfelt service with an eye on excellent food and presentation. We had the tasting menu and they were able to accommodate our gluten-free requests. All dishes were innovative. Bravo.

8.5/10We enjoyed our dining experience. I chose the crispy veal sweetbread. My wife had the free range fowl. Neither of the items would have been our first choice, as the menu was somewhat limited. The items were good and properly prepared but lacking in the rich flavors we were hoping for.

10/10Only my second ever visit, but the place just gets better and better. Fantastic service, wonderful food and a wine list to die for. Can’t recommend highly enough.

9/10This was our second visit to this restauarant. The menu is interesting and their are some less common mixtures of ingredients which work very well. The wine list is extensive and although there are some very expensive wines on the list there are plenty which represent good value. This reataurant specilaises in matching the type of pepper that you grind on to your food with the wine that is being drunk with the meal. Overall a good experience. I will come back.

9.5/10A quiet classic in the cushy Vendôme neighborhood with French fare. The food is very well executed and the madeleines at the end of the meal are a sweet touch!

10/10A real gem in Paris! Great food, great service and they were really knowledgeable about their wine and food parings. A nice mix of couples and families. We would for sure go there again!

10/10Sorry that this is in English. My wife and I had a great meal at Bistro Volnay. The food, quality and service was outstanding. My wife had the sea bream carpaccio and the scallops. I had the meat terrine and the cod. In addition, this restaurant has an absolute amazing list of Burgundy wines. We would go there again on a return trip to paris. D

10/10My wife and I ended up at the restaurant 2 hours before our reservation, but we were seated immediately. Great food, fun staff, quiet and elegant bistro. The best meal and dining experience we had in Paris this visit. Thank you Bistro Volnay!

10/10Fantastic Restaurant, we arrived about 20 minutes late because our flight was late into CDG airport. We phoned ahead to advise the restaurant, and although they were busy, our table was waiting as soon as we arrived. Perfect service, exceptional wine list (spoilt for choice) and a really good selection of food on the menu. Staff and (owner?) made us feel very welcome, and created a perfect evening for our first night in Paris. We will definitely return on our next trip.
