Do not go there. Worst food you can find.
Bistrot CocoHello, We are quite surprised by your comment, as throughout the meal you did not mention any negative remarks and you seemed to have enjoyed your experience. We would have sincerely preferred if you had shared your concerns with us during your visit so that we could have discussed it with you and, if necessary, found a solution immediately. Kind regards, Bistrot Coco

The food was great. But the service was mediocre. Maybe it was the traditional French way of welcoming the clients, but I was not impressed. I live in Switzerland and this is not how they serve in a Michelin restaurant. I would prefer waiters and waitresses who show genuine pleasure in serving. The staff was polite and respectful, I should definitely mention it. But I expect too much in France The food was.... truly exceptional and worth every cent we paid.

Bistro Coco is a first class professional restaurant that serves delicious food at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend Bistro Coco to family & friends. We would like to thank the team for giving us a wonderful dining experience!

Best perfect egg I have ever had, with paris mushrooms. Then a perfect steak with young potatoes. With a glass of cremant, followed by a glass of Bordeaux red. Absolutely delicious!

Interesting food and presentation. Quality was great, just lacking a few details that would make the experience truly great.

Incredible value for price - we got the set lunch course, and tried one of each option. Delicious wine selection, and the food was characterized by delicate, complex flavors and textures. They know what they are doing with butter, that is for sure!!!! The staff was so kind and solicitious, and the food presentation was beautiful. We had a vastly inferior meal for dinner at another touted establishment in Strasbourg, for about the same price, with fewer courses. Can't recommend enough.

The food was disappointing. The duck breast served was so tough. The service was painfully slow.

Great restaurant is Strasbourg with an interesting concept of "menu à l"aveugle". I'd recommend.

I had high expectations after reading previous reviews. Reality did not meet expectations. We dined on a Monday and the staff did not know how to serve and treat the guests properly. Our 4 course meal took 3:15 to finish. While I am familiar with French dining, each course took 5 minutes to eat and we waited almost an hour between courses. However, those tables seated at the same time as us, and some who came after, completed their meal an hour before us. There was no explanation or apology. The staff was inattentive, and looked like they had never served a coursed meal before. Unexpectedly, the menu was a set 3, 4 or 5 course with only meat or vegetarian as the only options. The dishes were not printed on the menu and there were no other option if you did not like the food you were given. The website stated that one could order off the menu, but this was not an option. The food was average. At 170€ for 2 people, including 1 glass of wine each, I expected more and was very disappointed

We enjoyed an excellent lunch here during the Christmas markets. The ambience is understated elegance, with soft tasteful music playing in the background. The service was attentive and cordial. The food was excellent: the beef tartare was prepared with careful knife work & added ingredients, and the foamy sauce was perfect; the beef steak was done to medium rare, and the black garlic sauce was delicious - the accompanying potatoes were the appropriate side. The wines - I had Pinot Noir & my husband had Ventroux 2 glasses - were very good quality. The banana dessert was the right ending to this thoroughly enjoyable meal. All of this for only 72€. We would absolutely eat here again, and highly recommend it.
