Despite being close to tourist attractions, the restaurant in Strasbourg offers good food and friendly service. The steak could have been more tender, but the duck was delicious. With a discount from The Fork, it’s definitely worth it. I recommend it.

The food and staff were great. We did have difficulty paying on The Fork app…the code didn’t appear on the iPhone messages right away. When we tried to pay again, we couldn’t get past the “Error” message and had to pay by credit card directly to the restaurant.

Service was lacking. The tables with customers seemed like the last thing on his priority list. He seemed to be handling a lot of odd end jobs while serving. The food was generally quite good though the onion soup was really average. We ended up going elsewhere for coffee and dessert.

The food is correct, and there are plenty of draught beers. We were there on a Friday night; the restaurant on the first floor was closed because of weak demand, and we were accommodated in the bar on the ground floor. The ambient is very different from the one in the pictures (the actual restaurant). We also have an issue when ordering red wine. I ordered a glass of red wine while they understood a whole bottle. Although they recognized a misunderstanding, they did not react appropriately and asked me to pay for the entire bottle, from which I had a single glass. Overall, the food was ok, but the environment and service were quite bad that night.

Lovely restaurant. The food is of great quality and the service is outstanding. We had diner on the terrasse and the view was lovely too. Child friendly too, which is greatly appreciated !
