I had a great experience at this restaurant in Strasbourg. The service was very friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The onion tart was delicious, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The sausage selection was also excellent—rich, hearty, and very satisfying. The 50% discount through The Fork made it absolutely worth it and great value for money. I would definitely recommend it!

Nice place but the food was not great. Potatoes were cold and the desert was not a homemade but tasted like from a supermarket

2 months passed, I still dream of it from time to time. There is an old saying in China that bitter orangers may turn sweet if grown on the other side of the river. That's exactly what happens to the pork shank when it's made in Alsace. A single bite of it, and I start to understand the crazy idea of annexing Germany and Austria to then take over Alsace and Lorraine. How could the Germanic people tolerate such delicious pork shank existing outside their territory? Such idea is nevertheless doomed to fail, cause an alsacien soul lies under the sauce, meat, and bones, an unconquerable soul that makes the pork shank irreplaceable, uncomparable and irresistable.

Warm atmostphere, friendly and super-helpful service accomodating for special needs (senior guest). All traditional alsatian stapples are on the menu, tasty and generous servings.

Food quality is above average. We had the salmon which was the best followed by duck leg confit. The meatballs and poulet vol au vent was ok. Service so so as we have to ask for water a few times and they forgot our bread even though the occupancy was 40%. Cosy place.

The manager was very sweet and accommodated us 30 minutes before our reservation time with a big smile. Service was pretty slow, but everyone was friendly. The prices were pretty high so I’m really glad we had a discount. We had to buy a dessert and entrée each to be able to get the 30% off. Food was pretty good, but not as good as value nor as nice of a view as Winstub restaurant, across from the cathedral. Good food and nice servers but pricey
