This is a wonderful restaurant. It is nicely decorated with Alsace style. The service and the food are excellent. We tried a bottle of Alsace wine. For appetizer we order a Flammenkuchen with fresh salmon and chives (Tarte flambée). Our main dish was beef in wine sauce with fried potatoes and my favorite dish was dessert, Flammenkuchen with apples and Calvados. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!

It was a quiet evening so felt a little flat. Maybe some music in the background.

Loved the truly Alsatian ambiance and the tarte flambés were delicieux!

Unfortunately Saturday the cook had no help so the four main dishes that attracted us to the restaurant were not available. We had salads and desert as there was no main dish that had our interest. Friday night it was crowded with people but Saturday we were quite lonely.

What a disappointment! I ate in this restaurant years ago, and the food quality has really gone down the drain. I had the cordon bleu with potatoes. The veal was so tough I could hardly cut it with a knife, and the potatoes were floating in a pool of oil. Worst cordon bleu I've had in a long time. To top it all, the waiter was very unfriendly. No smile and no apologies when he told us that one of the dishes we had ordered was no longer available. Instead of putting down each dish on the table in front of each person, as any normal waiter would do, he just stood at the end of the table and asked us to pass all the dishes on to each person. Again, no smile, no thank you... As we spoke English, they probably thought we didn't live here, and we were tourists so they probably didn't see the point of making an effort. But the truth is we do live in Strasbourg. Very bad experience. Will never go there again

Best tarte flambée my family and I have ever tasted. The cordon bleu, the steak (Pinot noir sauce), and the potatoes were cooked and prepared really well. We also ordered the jarret de porc in beer sauce but found it a bit too salty but still good. The portions are just the right size. My husband and I are light eaters so we decided to share our main but I don’t recommend that to everyone else. One main dish is good for one person, unless everyone is ordering a starter, which my group didn’t do. We shared a traditional tarte flambée and one of us ordered 6 escargots before getting our mains. I would love to come back and taste the other tarte flambées they have on their menu on our next visit.

Fine dishes, great service and cosy atmosphere in the heart of Strasbourg. We would definitely recommend it. Prices are quite high but the same is in all such places in the city. Very polite staff.
