Well, the food belied the setting. The place is in a great location and at least is not flooded with light as in other places around Turin, there is little character to the interior design and the tables and chairs are plastic and a bit too close together. There is no real interior decoration or plants, to speak of, to make you feel cosy and comfortable. On the other hand - the music was on point during the whole of our stay. Then, however, the food starts to arrive, not to mention a great wine and cocktail list, - the food is sublime. I will not go in to detail so as not to break the spell. Everything was curated and painstakingly prepared and explained (at length) by the proud Chef/owner (not sure which). All in all a great spot but I just think that they should take a bit more pride in every aspect which is outside of the kitchen (music policy excluded).

The food is simply delicious. Really top piemontese dishes! Many compliments to the chef. Even the bread and focaccia were way above average. Great service as well! Nice atmosphere overall, the only thing is I felt like those LED lights are not the most suitable to the place. It is missing some dimmed lights.

The chef and waiter was really kind. He told us a few 'words' about our food and drink. The restoraunt has local food of region. Food has a great taste and melts in mouth. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A great find. This was by far our best meal in Turin this time. Food was excellent, I loved the take on vitello tonnato and i would heartily recommend the pulled pork 'cake'. Great wine list and it is good to see a separate beer list for those who prefer it to wine. Well done team Black.
