The food was very nice and authentic but it takes forever to get it! We took almost 90 minutes from the moment we sat down to the moment we got our food. We had to ask for at least the drinks to be brought to the table while we waited for the food. That being said the staff was friendly and the food worth it! We had injera and the chicken and lamb was particularly good, the beef dish was a bit chewy but would recommend the over all experience unless you are in a rush!

Nice and friendly staff. The injera is delicious, the vegan version is great but the meat version the meat is a tough. I love strong Ethiopian coffee but unfortunately the coffee here wasn't. All and all a nice evening out. We will return. Thank you.

We had a fantastic dinner at Blue Nile Restaurant in The Hague, and the food truly stole the show. Each plate was clearly prepared with care and tradition, offering a wonderful variety of textures and tastes. Whether you're new to Ethiopian food or a longtime fan, this place is a must-visit. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made us feel right at home. Blue Nile is a gem in Den Haag. If you're looking for a flavorful, memorable meal, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

The food is very tasty. The environment is really cosy. You feel welcome.

It is a small and cozy place with great staff and amazing food. The millet Injera is yummy when paired with lentils. Only down side is that it can feel too crowded with just a few customers.
