Great cuisine, chef greets and explains the menu, options , etc. Has the friendly vibe of your neighborhood cafe with just simply excellent food.

Outstanding Basque tapas in Paris. The quality of the dishes was excellent, well balanced menu. The decor of the restaurant and menu of the walls takes you to the small tavern in Basque countryside. The service was friendly, quick and relaxed. It’s a perfect place to gather with friend(s) or go to eat with your partner. Highly recommended!

The last two times I’ve been in Paris I’ve come here and it is amazing. Lively ambience and did I mention the food? It’s unreal! Make a resy because it’s small but you won’t be disappointed

Food is simple and very tasty. The owner is clearly very passionate about his food and eager to share it - he goes into great detail, which is a delight. Space if warm amd cosy.

Superb, friendly, interesting place. Food was amazing and the host and chef were tremendous. We’ve been to the Basque area many times, so it was wonderful to have this authentic experience with really genuine people in the heart of Paris. It was full of locals so definitely best to book. We will 100% go back next time we are in Paris.

Our meal was a supremely delicious and our experience was an absolute delight. From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome. The owner, Patrice, is the quintessential host and makes you feel like you’re dining in his home. I will recommend Bodego Pixtola to everyone who visits Paris who is in search of a joyous meal and/or authentic dishes from the Basque region.

As Spaniard, I didn’t enjoy the food because, first of all, the waiter tried to sell a 2€ and very low quality wine bottle (Don Simon brand) for 24€. Second of all, he manifested his food was Basque (from the north of Spain) and the Chistorra was as dry as Christ feet, and the chipirons tasted like plastic. Thanks God they, at least, had Mahou (Madrid’s local beer).

Perfect service. Patrice was super nice, and even though we didn’t speak French or Spanish, he showed us the kitchen and everything, so we were sustain about what we ordered. Amazing place and we will definitely return, when we visit Paris again.
