Not happy with the management. The meat was not bad, but I was surprised from the bill: in Italy you are charged with "service and bread", it is normal, but here they used two distinct items on the list, to bill you twice: "bread" and "service". As I questioned this, the manager explained I would havent payed either of them, if not applying for Fork prices reduction. Smart move ! Offering a discount with an hand and applying extra service with the other!

Very slow service. We received water after 20 minutes and bread never arrived. Filet steak should have had 300g according to menu but was maybe slightly more than half and not with green pepper as ordered.

The quality and portions of the food were superb. Friendly hosts, English menu and also English speaking waitress. The prices were considerably moderate regarding the quality of the food. I had fettucine gricia and grilled prawns. truly enjoyed the food. Highly recomemended….

First time we came food was outstanding and so was the srvice. Last time it was a disaster. 1 hour wait for a tartar...both pastas were covered in whole black peper. I'm not even speaking that tables who arrived after were served first. Food was ariving with no particular logic, usualy 2 plates of pasta should arrive at the same time. A very disappointing experience.

Very disappointed! After a simple appetizer we waited over an hour and a half for our meal… We gave up and went to leave. It took almost 1/2 hour to get an accurate bill for our beverages and appetizer. The cashier kept double charging and repeatedly had to make a new bill. At the end of it all we were charged €2.50 for service. There as no apology for the inexcusable bad service. After 2.5 hours in this restaurant we went around the corner and got a hamburger.

Excellent service, there was a slight communication barrier but they were extremely patient and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted! Could not have wished for a better experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Rome for the first time, or returning!

We visited here 3 years ago in March 2019 and again October 2022, we absolutely love this place. Very traditional Rome. We love that it serves classic Italian food and you have the authentic feel rather than the hustle and bustle of the city. Christian is so welcoming and next time we come to Rome we will 100% be back and 100% recommend this place to anyone. The food is fantastic and service so welcoming. Thank you for having us back and look forward to visiting again.
