The restaurant is of the beaten path but worth the trip. It has a relaxed atmosphere - all the patrons appeared to be locals. I traveled specially to the area after hearing about the seafood. It was a rainy day with traffic and I was late for my booking. The restaurant accommodated me anyway despite being closed for lunch service. The food was delicious - locally sourced, fresh ingredients. I had puntarelle with aliche and pecorino as well as the spaghetti vongole. Both plates were deliciously different. The service was friendly, a welcome change to some of the restaurants in Rome - I was made to feel like family. If I were staying longer in Rome I’d be sure to go back.

One of the best meals I’ve had in years. I ordered oysters, crude and a plate of wonderful pasta vongole and porcini. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Couples with attentive, calm service that explains everything in detail - it was a perfect experience. Will definitely be going again!
