10/10After three weeks in Ostiense, we discovered Fiore all’Occhiello much to our delight. The food is outstanding, both in taste and presentation. The service was what you expect in an upscale restaurant. It is a neighborhood spot with few (if any) tourists. The waiter guided our choices and we were not disappointed.

7.5/10Bit narrow menu options but you can't expect much more for a rather small place. The food was good and somewhat artistic. Original. But also the meals felt a bit too scarce, expecially compared to the price. At dinner we got welcomed by the owner with 2 glasses of prosecco, which was highly appreciated and also a little taste of some ricotta mixed up with some pecorino which was ok. The overall experience was quite nice, but with only 30% off, it still felt a little bit too pricey, due to the meagre courses.

5.5/10This was our 4th Valentine's dinner in this restaurant. And the most disappointing. No special menu. A group of 12 people including 3 noisy kids, at the table nearby. Strange ambience for a romantic dinner. No special romantic atmosphere. We came at 8 pm and left at 9 pm as the waiter was also very quick bringing the dishes. "The cherry on the cake" was the dessert. A choclate mouse with forest berries, that included 4! Pieces of blueberries. No joking. We used to like to dine there for Valentines but this time it was, really very dissapointing.

Mi dispiace molto leggere certe cose,specialmente da lei. Mi spiego,"Specialmente da lei" perchè,abbiamo accettato la sua prenotazione(con 50euro di sconto)nonostante la serata e nonostante non si poteva fare da accordi con the fork. Pero',visto il momento,le abbiamo dato la possibilità di mangiare con quello sconto e per lo stesso motivo(pensi) non abbiamo fatto menù a tema,non volevamo obbligare i nostri clienti a spendere 40/50 euro a persona. Il locale di per se è romantico e per quella sera l'abbiamo reso ancor più bello con petali di rose e candeline. Andiamo avanti, la sua unica critica su un nostro piatto e totalmente infondata visto che nel dolce non ci sono mirtilli freschi ma una mousse al cioccolato bianco con crumble di mirtilli (biscotti ai mirtilli) per abbellirlo ancor di più mettiamo dei mirtilli freschi. Infine,nonostante quasi mai ci sono bimbi/ragazzetti qui da noi non saranno mai un problema ne a san valentino ne in qualsiasi altra giornata. Specialmente se sono educati come quella sera

8.5/10Inviting atmosphere, good service. The antipasti we ordered were delicious (tortino di zucca and rolle di baccalà) but primi tonnarelli ajo ojo and fusiline al ragu di triglia were underwhelming due to what felt like lack of seasoning. Cortono patate al forno was bland and came with some burnt pieces so I wouldn’t recommend the dish.
