8/10Great location, professional service, fair price for a lunch set. But the tastes were over loaded with Asian infusion, that didn’t reach the expectations for a French restaurant, especially for Asian customers like us. Overall, it’s a good dining experience.

10/10We just had an incredible birthday dinner at Caelis. This was our second visit and once again, we were not disappointed! We celebrated my birthday this time. First of all, the food was amazing. We enjoyed each course of the Earth and Sea tasting menu. We have eaten in several Michelin starred restaurants from 1 to 3 stars, and this was one of our better experiences. The main thing that made it special was the treatment, warmth, professionalism, and attention by the staff. Pablo, the sommelier, explained each wine in great and interesting detail. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm excited us. The rest of the staff were equally engaged and made my birthday very special. Unfortunately, we did not get the names of the other staff members, but we are grateful to them all. We will definitely plan to return soon.

8/10Third Michelin star restaurant in Barcelona (love there are so many!). This was by far the weakest. Presentation very detailed but at a cost of the flavors not hitting on each dish. The steak course was certainly the best and was fabulous. Our tables consensus was that it was good - but not great,

10/10A very deserving michelin starred restaurant. We had their Earth and Sea tasting menu and the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, happy to help with our request of well-done cooked fish/steak. All courses were well flavoured, wines were perfectly matched to our tastes and requests.

9.5/10Wonderful dining experience in the heart of Barcelona, the food was creative, did the 15 cause tasting menu, 80% was excellent, a couple need to work on. The wine service was fantastic with some little gem of Spain, big plus for the Somm !

9.5/10We sat at the counter and it was great watching the preparation. We had the 15 course meal for lunch; nice pace and the sauces were not over powering. The highlights were the langoustine, foe gras and lobster and the red mullet. Service was very friendly. Considering the quality and quantity, the menu was a steal. It was my wife’s birthday and it was a nice treat.

5.5/10I have a food restriction that I told the restaurant about before the date and prior to starting the dinner. In the set menu, they served me the same entrant twice. Just not acceptable at a Michelin * restaurant, never have had this issue before. I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

10/10The most enjoyable fine dining experience we have ever experienced! Each course was delicious and beautifully presented! The sommelier was excellent and the pairings delightful! Great attention was given to one who is gluten free and that was highly appreciated. We will forever reflect back on dining here our first night staying at Ohla Barcelona. The service and food were unforgettable! Highly recommend!

9/10Caelis was nearly a spiritual experience. The food, its textures and flavours, were unlike anything we ever had. Our dinner will be something we treasure for the rest of our lives. Likewise, the waitstaff were kind and courteous. When we asked about a cheese at the desert course our waiter located the best pcheesemonger to buy it from. The staff were personal but professional. The only problem we faced were some overloud guests whose belligerence dented the ambiance of the evening. That being said, the plateware and design of the space were whimsical and fun. Filled with poetic meaning. The last two dishes, along with the amuse bouche were our favourite courses. Would recommend.

9/10It was my daughter's first experience with a Michelin Star restaurant, and it was a great experience. We opted for the 55 euro per person menu, which included a choice of two appetizers, and a choice of two entrees, and a choice of sweet dessert or cheese plate. Coffee and a glass of wine are also included. We upgraded to the 70 euro per person menu, which is just added one more appetizer or entree, plus a second glass of wine. But thinking about, we may not have needed that, as we couldn't finish two entrees. Maybe we should've selected two appetizers and one entree instead. The appetizer of tuna tartar was amazing, but the two entrees were just OK, but both very generous in portions. We reserved early enough to set at the counter watching the kitchen staff preparing the food. It was quite fun. Overall a very good experience. Kudos to the kitchen staff.

10/10We enjoyed lunch on a Friday and it was an exceptional experience. My husband and I are mostly vegetarian but eat some fish. One of the tasting menus offered that day was Vegetarian which we wanted. The maitre d’ asked if we would want any fish substitutes to that menu and was happy to suggest options, two of which we enthusiastically agreed. Before the items on the menu were served, we relished three rounds of the chef’s amuse bouche for that day. Exquisite surprises with each, one more inventive and fabulous than the next. Our menu items and fish substitutions did not disappoint and were as inventive and delicious as everything else. Btw the bread was insanely good, along with the choice of butters, olive, tomato and rosemary. A whole meal could have centered around just that with a great red wine. As for the wine, we enjoyed a delicious champagne to start and then a rich, delicious red that paired seamlessly with all of our dishes. We cannot be more complimentary! Just a genuine pleasure for both of us.
