7.5/10Good meal and efficient service. Missing the touches that other Michelin restaurants provided this week to celebrate my husband’s birthday despite it being noted in the reservation. Maybe because they were focused on Valentine’s Day.

7.5/10I found hair in the main dish, but any one else didn't apologize. It was very disappointed. other things( food, wine, rooftop bar) are so good.

9.5/10The Celebration Menu was exactly as described. It was a celebration of food for just about all of your senses. It was beautifully presented to the precision timing of a German passenger train. Each course far exceeded the written menu description. What kept me from declaring this a "Perfect 10" was the wine service. I'll go big on wine. We were presented a taste of a Cava early, but for some reason, the young lady was called away from our table by someone out of view as if she was about to make a big mistake. She returned with a Cava that was slightly "older" we think. Then nothing. We went well into 5 dishes and empty glasses when I finally asked. "Do you sell wine? I will buy some." I wanted the wine pairing but was told I didn't pre-order it. Odd, I get we needed to pre-order the meal, but mine bad if I missed I needed to pre-order the wine. Other tables were presented right away with the iPad Wine List. It was never offered, and by time we got going, I was too late.

2/10I ate here on the 6/1/25 to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was honestly the worse experience I've had in a such a restaurant. The food, even though the products were very nice, was not well executed leaving us with totally uncoherent combinations, many of the ingredients you could not feel at all ect... The manager was the worst part of the experience. She would answer to us in a condescending way, not acknowledging our concern and making excuses to justify the price like "hem... do you know how a croissant is made? It is not that easy you know!". We're talking about a Michelin-starred chef, where the question shouldn’t be whether something is hard to make, but whether it’s made well!! The food was so bad we stopped the experience hoping for a commercial gesture as we were just halfway through the meal but no, the manager tried to justify saying that everyone has different taste and that "ok I can understand for the ravioli but you cannot tell me the rest was not well made" wtf?

10/10+2From the sleek atmosphere to the innovative tasting menu, every detail was thoughtfully crafted. The dishes were a stunning blend of modern Catalan flavors, with each bite more memorable than the last. Highlights included a delicate seafood course and a dessert that redefined indulgence. The knowledgeable and attentive staff enhanced the experience by sharing the story behind each wine pairing. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a remarkable journey that will stay with me for a long time.

10/10Caelis exceeded our expectations! We can't thank the staff enough for a lovely evening. And a special thank you for the wonderful pasta dish the chef prepared for our 7 year old nephew. It was a perfect meal for him while the rest of the group dined on the Celebration Menu. Which was simply divine. There are not enough words to express how much we enjoyed Caelis. It was truly an exceptional meal!

10/10The food there is very nice, we tried the lunch menu, but if you can eat more, highly recommend to extend the menu to 4 dish 2 glass of wine with just pay 15 Euro more vs origin lunch menu. We had 3 different snack and 3 flavors of butter, different starters and main course plus the cheese cake as dessert, all very nice dishes!

5/10The food was ok but nothing more than that. The wine parring way overpriced, compaired with the quality.

8.5/10Food was tasty and beautifully plated. Dinner started out at a good pace then slowed down considerably, ~20 minutes gap between some courses. Water was not refilled in a timely manner and wine service is slow at times. It seemed to be a staffing issue once more diners showed up. It took more than 4 hours to finish our meal.

9.5/10Amazing presentation and very good balance of tastes. Will definitely come again. Can recommend their full dining experience. Great atmosphere - I loved loved loved it was not loud and there was no music that would make you deaf. What we did not like was that the tables were very close and you could hear other people's conversations. Other than that, all was fine.

6/10I recently dined at Caelis with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to its Michelin-star status. While the food was acceptable, it lacked the finesse and innovation typically expected at this level. Dishes were well-presented, but the flavors didn’t match the artistry, falling short of the complex and memorable tastes that Michelin-starred restaurants are known for. The wine pairings were particularly disappointing. Not only was the quality of the wines subpar, but the service timing was noticeably off, with wines often arriving too early or too late in relation to the courses. This disrupted the flow of the meal and detracted from the dining experience rather than enhancing it. The service was polite and professional, yet it lacked the warmth, attentiveness, and seamless coordination one would expect at a Michelin-star establishment. Small but important details that set apart top-tier dining experiences were missing here, leaving the experience feeli

3.5/10+3I dined at a Michelin one-star restaurant today, and it was a disappointing experience. I requested the wine list early on but had to ask twice before anyone brought it. Service was also painfully slow, with around 20 minutes between each dish, despite asking servers to speed things up. When I asked for my dessert to be packed to go, it still took another 20 minutes. The staff seemed inattentive and repeatedly overlooked my requests, even though I mentioned being in a hurry. For a meal costing around 130, I expected much better service. Overall, it felt like poor value for the price.

5.5/10Food was good overall. The staff we dealt with were somewhat distant and would often forget to refill our water or check on us. I’m not sure if it’s because we were American’s but they seemed more interested in tending to all the other tables. I would not come back.

6.5/10+2We were sat at the most hidden table in the restaurant. Just the table itself felt isolated. We chose the 17 course meal. In terms of food we were delight but I am not sure if it was because of the table but the wait in between meals was exhaustingly long. the waiters only came to check on us when the food was served. Again, delicious and beautiful food, but I should've gone home at least an hour and a half earlier. For a high end restaurant the wait and feeling of being forgotten felt like being in "just" another restaurant in Barcelona...

10/10Caelis' Michelin rating is well deserved. Everything from decor to service to presentation and ambiance was designed to delight. We were offered a glass of cava on arrival, and we both elected the Earth and Sea tasting menu with wine pairings. Too much time has passed to recall each course other than to say that everything was interesting, tasty, often unusual and well presented. Despite the large number of courses, the amounts were appropriate, so we were not overly full at the end. While eating in this way is not something we would do every day, it was a wonderful way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and even though it is pricey, I would not hesitate to go back the next time in Barcelona.
