- the chef did not train it‘s staff. They did not give the impression they have experienced the food themselves. - we were sitting at a table where cheese platters were stapled up behind my wife, staring at a busy hallway. Far from a relaxed fine dining feel. - when offered apperitives, my wife asked: can you recommend me something? and the answer was: we have everything, followed by an inpatient look / instead of recommending solutions. - the food itself had some michelin vibes, but rather from 1995. Nothing made a difference. The crockery was just pmain plates and silver cutlery - nothing much that expressed the story of the dishes. - the staff did not look concept-unified. - the food - somewhat nicely decorated, tasted like cruise ship dinner (nicely arranged but cooled for masses). all over, neither the creaticity, nor the uniqueness of the staff, nor the food convinced us. the highlight was the bottle of red wine.

everything was perfect.

Their service was terrible because they were so slow, they serve 7 or 8 amuse bouche and I ate and I waited more than 15 minutes for other amouse bouche, they serve same sauce for 2 main dishes. Ambience was so noisy.

Great service, food was ok, not bad but nothing exceptional considering the one Michelin star and the prices . Not impressed.

+2The whole experience was excellent. The food was great, the service and all people included were very proffesiomal, but friendly and very kind. Abience is classy, ltop location. you can see chef and sous chefs cooking and cleaning, so overall this was great experience worth visiting.

Despite being a consistent Michelin-starred restaurant, the food and service did not live up to expectations. set too high?

A Must 🤩

Michelin in Span is very authentic very heavy food, lots of fat unbalanced flavors. Usually it's a great fortunate to find a place you want to return. And of course strange things during booking aimed to steel card details.

Wonderful restaurant. Each course is prepared and served with care. Loved the wine pairings as well. Highly recommend.

Great experience and food. I strongly recommended it. I would suggest the service to go a bit faster.

Service is good but the food doesn’t stand for its price and far from Michelin star level

We absolutely loved dining here for my wife’s birthday. The staff was so attentive, with the courses and wine flowing. We definitely will return next year.

Refined and relaxed decor, professional and friendly staff, some amazing gastronomic dishes, well-matched wine pairings for the various tasting menus, and reasonably priced for the total experience.

this is obviously a very high end place, however I felt a bit the bells and whistles overcame the substance. while the service was definitely nothing short of amazing, the food itself felt a bit uninspired at times. sure, it looked like a piece of art, it just didn't taste as good as some other much simpler establishment.

After 11 cities of exceptional dining across Spain, we chose Caelis to cap our gastronomical Journey. Despite its Michelin star and €200+ per person price tag, it was our most disappointing meal of the entire trip. While the service was impeccable and ambiance sophisticated, the food and wine selections fell surprisingly short. We've dined at numerous Michelin-starred establishments throughout our adventure, all delivering memorable experiences. Caelis, however, couldn't even match non-starred gems like Flamma in Valladolid, where culinary execution and flavor profiles far exceeded what we encountered at Caelis. For a restaurant of this caliber and cost, we expected dishes that would rival or surpass our previous stops. Instead, we left feeling that Michelin star reflects past glories rather than current performance. The stark contracts between elegant setting and lackluster cuisine made the experience all the more disappointing. I'd recommend exploring other options in Barcelona.

We had a wonderful experience at Caelis! My husband, daughter, and I ate at the bar, which I highly recommend as you can see the skill and care that goes into each and every dish on the Celebration Menu.

Staff is attentful. Food is okay, but not on a level that you should expect from a Michelin rated reataurant. 70 minutes from being seated to paying the check is too fast.
