Super quaint wine bar with locally sourced food. If you’re looking for high-end service with a big menu, this is not for you. But if you are looking for an intimate dining experience with a limited, but fresh and local menu, this can’t be beat! Alessandro can guide you to great wine that isn’t expensive. His grandmother is pate recipe is unbelievable. They serve it with the bread and it is fantastic!

We wish we could have eaten outside, but it was raining. The place is owned by a mother and son, and Alessandro is always ready with a warm welcome and a kind word. We enjoyed everything except for the frittata in red sauce. The lasagna was out of this world, though they only had two pieces available. Paired with a Cantina Foresi Orvieto Classico, you really can’t go wrong. We also got to see the old cantina and ended up buying two bottles of their delicious wine.

The location is the best in Orvieto piazza del Duomo. They serve their own Orvieto Classico and the white wine is exceptional. Prices are honest and the food, that is very limited, is very local and optimal quality. Their vin santo too is a must. I look forward to returning soon.

This is our second trip to Orvieto and Cantina Foresi. They are perfectly situated, adjacent to the Duomo. The owners and staff were very attentive and everything we tried was delightful. Pasta, panini, soup, salad, crostini, salume and cheese platter... Their own, delicious wines were a perfect accompaniment to our lunch and dinner outings. Delicious food in a beautiful setting.

Great place to get a cup of wine with some appetizers. The food has great quality and the service is amazing. Not the place to get a menu kind meal but overall is very good.

This is a small place, with excellent food. Carefully prepared, there is loads of local cold cuts and cheese. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. For people intolerant to gluten: the cold cuts and cheese are prepared om a sode to avoid contamination amd they have gluten free crackers to go with.
