We spent a very pleasant evening at Casa Elli. The only downside was we were kept waiting in the restaurant for about 10 minutes even though we had booked a table and were virtually ignored. However, the food was good and the service acceptable.

Our server made an effort to adapt menu items for my dietary needs and the resulting gluten free pasta dish and salad were delicious. The portions were ample, more than we could eat and the prices for the quality were reasonable. What I especially enjoyed was we were not in any way rushed through the meal, we had time to enjoy the dining experience. When I return to Nice, this restaurant will be the first I will visit for dinner.

Lovely food and overall experience at Casa Elli. Classic dishes with native Italian speakers - you really can't go wrong. Originally looking to order the lasagna, I was informed it was unavailable, but the spinach-stuffed Cannelloni absolutely did the trick. While there was no mention of the pistachio/coconut gelato that other reviewers lauded, both the tiramisu and chocolate lava cake were knockouts.

This restaurant is closed. The Fork needs to update. The space was empty and looked like it had been so for awhile.

It was enough to call like new customers do or read the clearly visible sign, we are 20 meters from the old location, we have moved to a larger, more beautiful and very visible location.

Despite an issue with the Fork's reservation system, and the restaurant being overbooked when we arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating. They set up an additional outside table for us, and brought out complimentary starters to make up for the mix up. The food was phenomenal, and the service great. I would highly recommend a visit to Casa Elli.
