Exquisite tasting menu, served with much attention to detail. Each dish was well explained in English, presented nicely and tasted amazing. We did the Surf and Turf 8 courses and all eight were delicious. The non-alcoholoc drinks pairing was also good option. The place deserves a Michelin star or two, I would recommend it over both restaurants at Negresco.

As a solo diner from Sydney, I was seated opposite the humble and intuitive Chef, Julien, so my senses were excited before I tasted the food. Laetitia is a supreme host, knowledgeable and elegant. The staff are excellent in all respects. It was Christmas Day, but there was nothing tired nor cliched about the menu. There seemed to be a natural order of things, although most everything was unexpected. I chose Pure & V par Maison Joia! for its commitment to sustainability, organic and locally grown produce. There was nothing that tried too hard to impress, although everything did. Flavours relied on the purity of the food and the alchemy of Julien and his team (including a brilliant pastry chef). Bar De Ligne gave me goosebumps: it plunged me into the ocean, evocative of my favourite activity, snorkelling in the deep blue. Julien's art is so faithful to the source ingredients and so bravely expansive that each dish has a sense of place beyond the warm and sophisticated dining room.

lovely setting, super attentive and friendly service, good value for money and type of restaurant. 6 course menue turns out to be more like 15 courses. good winepairing at ok price. all the best ingridients and everything cooked perfectly. Will go back again.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in the Cote D'azur and chose Maison Joia for our special dinner. It certainly was! We chose the chef surprise 7 course dinner with six wine pairings. Since there was only six pairings for seven courses they served us a glass of champagne with the first. Every course was filled with special seasonings and sauces and the presentation for each was inventive, artistic and exquisite. The restaurant is owned snd operated by a married couple, with the wife serving and explaining every dish completely. We could not have had a more satisfying celebration dinner!

We ate here on our last night in Nice. Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by one of the owners, the chef’s wife. The space is elegant and comfortable. The focus is on organic and locally sourced food, and each course is beautifully presented and explained. The chef’s creativity, attention to detail and passion comes through in each delicious bite. The entire meal was a wonderful experience.

We were fortunate to spend our last night in Nice at Maison Joia. The experience felt like a combination of culinary education, taste exploration, and magic show. Husband and wife team, Julien and Laetitia Pilati, the chef and the guide respectively, have crafted a unique experience exploring creative and delicious possibilities in an inviting and intimate environment. Their enthusiasm for the food, joy in sharing it, and passion for supporting local French farmers and bakers clearly came through. Each course was thoughtfully presented, verbally and visually. Fantastic restaurant for a wonderful tasting menu. All food locally sourced and was all delicious, the wine pairing was exceptional. Wife and husband team as hostess and chef. I went by myself and was made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience.
