3.5/10We purchased the package for Christmas Eve. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a nice lady who brought us to our table. We were seated in the upper dining area and the lights were too bright - it kind of killed the atmosphere. The meal consisted of an appetizer, 2 main dishes, dessert and wine. The first main course was awful: poached cod, boiled carrots and boiled potatoes - no seasoning, no sauce - nada, nothing. This dish looked more like a punishment - we could not eat it. Neither did the table to our right and the one to our left. The second main course was a piece of turkey with some gravy and vegetables. This was palatable. And through this experience, the service was good and efficient., while the restaurant was packed. The fado artists were fantastic but the lights could have been dimmed a little - it took away from the beauty of the performance. All in all, disappointing as far as culinary experience but very good artistically.

6.5/10It’s a nice place to come for the Fado show, performances are amazing, but the food not so much.

6.5/10We booked this to see the fado show. The singers were fantastic, as were the waiters. Unfortunately the food was nowhere near the price point in the menu as far as quality. Could be one of the best places in Lisbon if they improved the food.

10/10I found this place in Google while looking for recommendations for a Fado show and it was amazing! The food was so good, the wine perfect and the most important part (for me): the Fado! I was so happy there. Even they helped me calling a taxi for me to come back to my hotel because it was late. My last day in Lisbon and probably the best one! Thanks for everything!

2.5/10Service very much delayed, food made with no love, raw and not well cooked, the flavors are very amateur. The spectacle is really good but be prepared, they don’t tell you this the dinner has its own cost plus 20€ per person for the Fado show. Overall for the price it was a terrible experience, if you can, there are Fado houses just down the street with much greater quality.

About the quality of the food, I cannot refute the fact that you did not like it, nonetheless our Chef is from one of the two most recognized schools in the city - Associação de Cozinheiros de Portugal. Finally, the restaurant is a old Palace, having as wall the roman fence of the city, and you can appreciate an exposition of pieces from the 7th century B.C. till end of medieval times, all found during the recuperation of the building, and kept with an agreement made with Lisbon Museum. Once again, I’m truly sorry that you didn’t enjoy to be with us, however, you are always welcome to our restaurant to watch a great fado show while enjoying one of our varied meals, accompanied by one of the many wine options we have on offer.

6/10The food was average, the lam came in cold and had to ask to reheat.

5/10The musicians and singers were great - the food was mediocre for the price and the service was terrible. I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it
