The starter was the only food item that was just “okay.” The four appetizers on the tasting menu were all very good and artfully displayed. The mains and desserts were equally good. The tasting menu left us quite full and satisfied. The food was not at all spicy, so we were a little surprised by that. We hadn’t been to Spain for 14 years though, so we didn’t remember that the food wasn’t very heavily spiced. Service by Nico was perfect! A very nice evening and good value. We would recommend this restaurant for the food, atmosphere and ambiance. One note, though. We got there VERY early, relative to dining standards in Barcelona (6:00 PM) , and avoided the noise which began to pervade the restaurant as it filled when we left at almost 8:00. We were glad we avoided the two parties of ten who were seated near us near the end of our evening. They weren’t rude or out of line, just 20 people speaking, almost all at once, changed the restaurant’s atmosphere pretty quickly.

Food was nice, but they claimed not to be a part of The Fork, and did not give the discount (50%) which was shown on The Fork when I booked the table

It might be valid for other venues that are subscribed to The Fork’s discount offers, but not for us.
