We arrived on time for our 7:30pm reservation, told the staff we had a booking, and were told we still had to queue with people who hadn’t reserved. With our last train back to Milan at 9:30pm, we were still waiting for a table at 8pm. Eventually, we were offered a seat outside despite the rain, which we accepted. However, they then set a table for four in a space where only three sides were usable – two of us had table legs uncomfortably between our legs, and the fourth side of the table was pushed directly against the wall. When we politely raised this, the lady serving us was extremely rude and dismissive, telling us “that’s the table, tough.” The level of service was so unpleasant that we chose not to eat here at all. A very disappointing experience.
