We’ve dined at Ristorante Cesare four times now, and each visit has been a true pleasure! The food is simply fantastic – authentic, flavorful, and prepared with great love for Italian cuisine. Whether it’s their homemade pasta dishes, fresh fish, or delicious meat options, every bite has been an experience. The staff is not only skilled and attentive but also warm and welcoming, creating a wonderful atmosphere. They truly go the extra mile to make each guest feel special. Ristorante Cesare is a place we’ll always return to when we’re in Rome. Exquisite food and genuine Italian hospitality make every visit truly memorable. Thank you.

An old fashioned sort of place that makes you feel spoiled. Professionally run, no surprises in food or service. Not gourmet, not exceptional food, but all your Roman favourites are there, well cooked as I am sure they have been for ever

Given that this restaurant was on the Michelin app, we were so excited to give it a try. Our server was not your typical friendly Italian gentleman….he was curt and rude. We had a few items that were fantastically delicious (fried squash flowers). Several items on our order were forgotten. The clam spaghetti was less than to be desired (clams were tasty but the spaghetti and sauce were almost inedible).

The food was very good. The mushroom salad was excellent and the beans were surprisingly tasty. On arrival, we sat for nearly 30 minutes with no water before anyone came to our table. Once the waiter came by, the service was good. The part of the dining room where we sat was very warm, which detracted from our enjoyment of the meal. We may try this place again in the winter when the dining room might be cooler. We are not sure why they were not running the air conditioners near our section on this hot day. The bathrooms did, however, have air conditioning.

I had reservation at the restaurant, unfortunately we were seated in the back with a partition and could not enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant, felt like 2nd class citizens. Very disappointing experience.
