We tried this restaurant on a sunday night, and even if we came late, we had a perfect welcome! We both chose the carbonara with some truffle and it was purely delicious ! We truly recommend this place!! NB : the playlist with some funk and soul is perfect too !!

Il Bacaro was my 1st stop in Rome and it was exactly what i was looking for! Normally i would avoid the restaurants in the centre but Il Baraco is located in a very cute little spot, away from the chaos of downtown. Exact atmosphere that you would like to experience like a local. I thought spaghetti would be enough but I continued with octopus and it was the star of the day! Staff is very friendly & helpful. Prices are very good and the restaurant has a lot to offer. 100 out of 5 stars!

The menu is diferent fron The menu on The fork, and also they don't do The menu offer. Supposedly Just for people working on The ztl. The food was ok but The Tiramisu was superb

Hi dear Luis. You booked your table with 40% discount with thefork. While you wanted to do lunch menu which costs 15 euro. We explained that you cannot do both. The point is that with your 40% you payed less than you would have payed with a lunch menu which is for clients who work near us and come for lunch regularly. Again , we are very sorry for this misunderstanding and hope to see you again!

A wonderful, slightly away from the bustling crowds, we had a wonderful dinner sat outside and under the vines. Our host was very helpful with a great recommendation of a white wine from Lazio (I will be buying this again) and even provided use with a couple of personal fans as it was very hot and humid outside. The amatriciana di polpo was fabulous! Really recommend this restaurant and will return when back in Rome.

Small intimate restaurant away from the hustle and bustle. Great service. Food is made with simple fresh ingredients that allow you to enjoy every bite. One person in our party has a nut allergy and the restaurant was very attentive to this need. Came here 20 years ago and the food today was as good as we remembered it being back then. Will definitely be back
