Basically the food was good, with the exception of one dish (calf's liver) which was cooked too long, it's a pity that no-one took any notice of this, although we told the waiter nicely. The rest of the food was very well presented and good. The ambience is very pleasant, in summer the garden and terrace must be fantastic, as well as the view of the city

Buonasera Sig.ra Puchkina. Addirittura 2? Ci dispiace che non abbia trovato nulla di suo gradimento. Non vorremmo pensare però che il voto sia dato dal fatto che non siamo riusciti ad esaudire la sua richiesta (dell'ultimo momento) di mangiare in veranda, già al completo.

Friends from Norway recomended The restaurant and we were not dissapointed. Very tasteful food (aperitif, second course and dessert with ditto wines). The atmosphere was excellent and we loved the ambience with the beautiful view.

Fantastic view over the surroundings- come before sunset. Food was top quality-enjoyed tuna tartar and t bone steak with a good chianti. Very friendly service.

The restaurant is set in a truely picturescue location controlling almost 360 degree views over Bergamo and the beautiful surrounding hills. The service, food and wine are exceptional with really friendly staff who are profesional and really helpful. The location is also perfect for weddings, parties and other events. I’d love to go back and can’t recommend it enough to anyone wishing to visit!

The four of us had a lovely dinner at an outdoor table overlooking the city of Bergamo. We arrived in daylight and enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains. The service was excellent and the food delicious from beginning to end. We recommend the sea bass, turbot, rigatoni and the tomato & mozzarella salad on a bed of flaky pastry. And the delicious chocolate tart or custard with berries. Truly a memorable meal in an outstanding setting. We walked up from our hotel near the Piazza Vecchio and walked back after dinner.

A gorgeous villa situated on the top of the hill overlooking the surrounding valleys and mountain range. The view is breathtaking. The setting sun reveals twinkling lights of the buildings below, creating an ever changing view that captivates. It’s a bit enchanting and a bit magical. Food is simply delicious. Due to us not speaking Italian very well, our server brought us two incorrect entrees, however, these were spectacular and we’d order them again! Highly recommend the lamb. This was without a doubt the best dinner we’ve had in Italy. Do not miss out on this dining experience when traveling Italy’s northern region.

The place of the restaurant is extraordinary - on the top of hill over Bergamo so the views are stunning. The tables are placed in the garden what creates magical atmosphere indeed. But that’s all. The food was realy disappointing and the prices do not reflect quality at all. We took 2 starters (melon with ham and beef tartar) and then risotto with shrimps and lamb rack. Starters were nothing special as for such highly rated place, the serving very simple and the taste so so (beef for tartar was more grated but not minced). There was only 1 shrimp in risotto and I felt like I’m eating risotto with sand - the same creaking between teeth, maybe because of sandy seafood. I left more than half as it was unpleasant to eat it :( My husband took lamb rack and it comes in the pink salt ‘coat’. The waiter unpack the dish in front of you, cuts it and serves. Again, maybe it’s a specific way to prepare meat but all these melted fat on the roasy really didn’t whet the appetite. But the meat was good - soft and juicy.

The place is a classic. The views from within and from the large outdoor gardens are as good as they come. The welcome and service are excellent. The menu is good if maybe an entry or so small in each section. The food is very good but not "great". We suspect the restaurant is resting on its laurels. I just needs to slightly up its game to match the one or two other great restaurants in town. All that said, this is probably *the* place to be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and evening when the weather is good. Probably a huge, yet fun, scene.
