The food at L'Italia was pretty good - my friend and I only had soup (one minestrone and one lobster bisque) and focaccia so I don't have a big sample of the menu. The service was painfully slow and inattentive.

The ambience was very nice. The service is fast, professional and friendly. The food was good. I ordered lasagna which was well baked and tasty. My husband ordered spaghetti gorgonzola and he didn’t like the preparation. The wine selection is good, goes well with the food.

I liked the patio at the back, quiet and relaxing in a bustling area! This restaurant seemed quite empty, a shame given it has many quality dishes. So take it as an advantage and enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner there :)

Restaurant looks a bit strange from the outside but it surprises you once you’re in. It’s spacious with high ceilings. quite nice! The service was very fast as well. I came in at 8, took all the time I needed to choose my food and at 8.12 my soup was already in front of me. I completely finished starter and my pasta at 8.39. Some would say that’s too fast, but when you’re hungry... ???? The fast service and large menu with fresh pastas is definitely a plus at this place.

I ordered a pizza. The dough was not good at all. It was somewhere between frozen and fried dough. The service was good and the staff was friendly.

Is a nice place. As far as service is concerned, they try to be correct, but I guess something profound needs to be changed (this applies to many places in Geneva) to feel the real service : adding a nicer tone to the voice, a smile, let you feel that you are warm-heartedly welcome.as far as food is concerned, the tuna salad was a bit oily, but otherwise good. The Spagetti Bolognese were great, and the Canelloni terribly salty.

The restaurant wait staff while understandably busy since it was the dinner hour, wasn't particularly attentive nor transparent about prices or what was available from The Fork offer, until we asked them multiple times. Despite never receiving any drink menus, we were given a bottle of water each with our meals that we didn't order. When asked about it, the waiters told us it was part of the Fork deal. But when we got ready to pay, one waiter provided us with a bill that only had prices for our meals, but when the second waiter came around to take our credit cards, he was surprised to see that the water wasn't on our bills, and charged us an extra amount without saying what it was. Only later did we find out that he charged us an extra 5.50CHF each for water that we didn't ask for the first place. We wouldn't have minded paying extra if they had been upfront and not deceptive about their confusing rules with this Fork promotion. I wouldn't particularly recommend this spot just based on the service alone.
