The ambiance and services was very good. The food needs to be improved, the duck we both ordered had a very strange taste, almost like the nuts were old so we returned it. We were offered the fish, which my husband took and when it arrived it was raw, but as my husband said, he did not order sushi. After all this, the waiter initally put both main dishes on the invoice which wer refused and then he quickly removed the main dishes. This visit was well under our expectations because we have been there before and then all was great, something must have been changed in the kitchen which seriously needs to improve

The menu was not extensive but the food was delicious and well worth the money. The restaurant was very pleasing in design and waiting staff were excellent.

It was my first table in Lyon and it become a good reason to come back here asap! I arrived very tired and in late due to a huge delay of my train for Lyon, but welcome, service and food at L’Octave have been simply perfect! A small, but shining spot for all the lovers of new French Cuisine and good wine! Recommended.

The staff was kind and nice, the carte was small to small maybe. The seabass had to much sour in the dish. The Burrata, missed the creaminess of the Burrata. The veal was good, the fish was lovely! The best of this restaurant is definitely the wine card love it.

Out in the docks a design restaurant with an amazing choice of wines, nice presentation of the dishes and excellent meat. What I did not like is the dirty fork and knife taken from the waiter and put on the table to be used for the next dish. Considering the level and the tone the restaurant wants to give itself, they could simply change cutlery with proper ones.
