Each bite of food was a party for the taste buds!!! Heavenly foie gras with apple & vanilla, pulled pork topped with langoustine followed by everything choc for desert! An innovative menu accompanied by some lovely red wine recommended by our knowledgeable and courteous host made our evening very special. Will return any day…..delicious !

We enjoyed the food and the wine! Uh, that foie de la casa was superb—delish! But there’s just this thing that kind of disappoints me and that because they haven’t got the application or anything to accept the “fork pay”. It was stated that this restaurant has this service but at the end of it all—nada, it didn’t work, payment with a gift card/FORK PAY is NOT applicable. They must have that sorted so next time, guests with such gift cards can make the most out of it as well. But aside from that—we had a great lunch! x

I booked a table here after a quick Google search for a fine dining restaurant and stumbled upon L'Origen. It was a great little find and well worth the visit if you are slightly out of the centre of Barcelona. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable, professionally presenting each dish. The food itself was exquisite and very well presented. All the wine pairings were perfect and definitely enhanced the experience. Only slight complaint was the decor, which although was warm and tidy, perhaps lacked character. I wholeheartedly recommend L'Origen in any case.

Delicious and intriguing dishes, relaxing setting, pleasant staff. The one negative was the fact that some of the dishes were missing, despite there being already a very limited menue.

Next to the option of a great gourmand menus, Osmosis has started L'Origen to be able to enjoy their kitchen in a tapas way. Beautiful plates with specially marinated salmon, a salmon with mango with a japanese twist, foie gras with apple (this we ordered double), little salty fish (anchoa), croquetas, beautiful fish and meat selections. Great wine recommendations too, love it. The only point that does not get 5 stars is the ambiance, the place could use an interior update. But the excellent food makes you forget about this anyway...
