Mediocre food, at best. Caprese salad came with robbery and aged mozzarella, saggy tomatoes, without any taste. Sliced beef with potatoes was hardly eatable. Beef was so tough that you could not be sliced. They basically ripped it apart in small chunks. Fried potatoes were way too salty, so I couldn’t finish them. Other than that , the rest is nothing special. Avoid!

I were expecting a little bit more from the carbonara to be honest. I heard that they made it to perfection, but it seemed like bacon and not guanciale. The creaminess wasn’t there, and it I got way better for less money other places in Rome. The service was formidable, but I think the ambience were a bit cold, and not as cosy as I expected. Some of the other dishes were very good, the ravioli for instance wow. I would recommend, and I would also come back.

The server did not specify cost of entree. We received no bread or olive oil until we asked - meanwhile other tables seated after us had already received their bread and appetizers. The server made us feel as if we should only order what he recommended. They checked on plenty of other tables, but always skipped ours. We were not offered wine or water.

Food was very average. Waiter gave us dirty plates. Bad service, didn’t clear our plates and just plopped food down on the table, we cleared our own plates basically. There were fruit flies everywhere and we couldn’t even enjoy our meal with all this going on. Ran out of there as soon as we were done eating. Will never come back.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and from reviews on tripadvisor. But it must have been our bad luck because we did not leave feeling happy to have payed over 80€ for a dinner that we have had better en much cheaper places. I hope others have a better experience than us
